I've been using just petroleum jelly for a few weeks now. Just put some on after a session or before bed. Zero skin problems since I started. I also have very dry skin generally.

Great advice Joshua! Human hands are really too delicate for climbing. Imagine having hands, feet and a tail, like monkeys that live in the forest canopy? How incredible would that be!

Idk about climbing or playing instruments but non foaming poly glues (like the clear gorilla glue) do great as far as grip, toughness, cheap, flexible, etc. They just take a while to cure. Sumo glue was great for it but it was discontinued.

Wonder if it is similar to liquid bandaid, it’s useful at the gym but I feel like it takes much longer to dry

So ive heard of people using super glue especially for the "splitters", like torn callous skin As a nurse it sounds super sketchy to me but i was hoping you were going to try that Obviously super glue can take days to come off skin and is pretty much only removable with natural skin turnover or abrasion lol so that's an obvious con

I hit my chest with a angle grinder. I cleaned the wound and used vet grade super glue to close it instead of stitches…it did the trick for awhile but opened during the healing and left a good scar.

Last year in Leavenworth I saw some super mutant boulderers spraying something all over their hands from an unlabeled spray bottle when back at camp. Never got a chance to ask what it was. But they were spraying it far away from their camp like it was some kind of chemical or something. I had the impression it was something for skin recovery. Any ideas what it was?

I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I can climb trad 20 minuets from my door. Weird question. What's the best bail out without losing gear? How do you get down from trad multi pitch with your lead unconscious three pieces up from a hanging belay?

Good questions! If there is a life on the line you lose the gear. Life>Money. Id definitely have to make a full video on that though. But sometimes it’s just time to call search and rescue.
