The recomp supports some romhacks and has a lot of potential with real time lighting that is being worked on. Rt64 is not on the 2ship port. Recomp also lags less and is smoother for animations like epona's running.

As much as I would like to see this done with twilight princess and wind waker, I don’t believe it’s possible in those games. However I think skyward sword would be interesting because there are items that you get early on that can be used in replacement

Honestly, I think of any Zelda games besides OoT and MM, WW would probably be the most possible. Skyward sword is entirely based on the sword, a lot of enemies are entirely built around the sword, even a lot of puzzles require the sword. WW gets enemy weapons you can pick up after knocking them out of their hands. I'm not sure if it'll be possible to get past the first combat encounter in the forest, though.

@@solarpelletsyou need to use the sword for the final hit in wind waker unfortunately, similar to Oot. Still wanna see how far you can get through on it since that’s my favorite one, but I think you can get surprisingly far in SS from what I remember on what enemies are optional or not

Nope. Many bosses NEED the sword to beat, like Final Ghirahim and Demise, who both need Fatal Blows, a *sword* technique, to win. Final Ghirahim also needs to be stabbed.
