Presenting the first ever celebrity edition of the Chase The Ace Hole-In-One Challenge. We gave Spider-Man actor Tom Holland and his brothers Harry and Sam 500 balls to see if they could make a hole-in-one.
Ahead of their appearance at the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am, we gave the three Hollands a full day and 500 attempts on the 132-yard par three 2nd hole of the Edinburgh Course at Wentworth Golf Club in London to achieve the impossible and make an ace.
Could they do what only two DP World Tour professionals, Andy Sullivan and Robert MacIntyre, have done in the history of the challenge and find that one, perfect shot?

Exchange the stat for shanks with the on for GRS, change ft to yards then multiply by 3 and those are my stats too!

@@snapfade Hitting to 5 feet is pretty difficult, I think the average proximity for a pro is probably around 15 to 18 feet. be interesting to see what their handicaps are.
Really puts into perspective how hard the solo 500 balls hole-in-one challenge was for the pros mentally. Landing the balls consistently on the green, often within inches of the hole.
The brotherly love is unreal in this video. The Holland bros are a bunch of good lads🤘

They're on camera where hundreds of thousands, if not millions will see them. How do you think they would act? Everyone is cool when a camera is pointed at them. They seem okay though.

@@ethanjhughes Yeah, let's all just fawn all over the dudes out hitting golf balls. The brotherly love is unreal? They looked like a group of buddies out there playing. They acted like my and my buddies act. We're not related btw. Probably wouldn't have known they were brothers without being told... but the brotherly love is unreal... Yeah, my little post was pointless, so is the celebrity worship.

Ball is landing on a back stop slope and is spin-assisted going back down the hill toward the whole. Not a flat green generating that much spin.

@@vftee9953 That's not just because of the back slope come on. Unless it actually has decent spin it wont spin like that even on backslope which means they would have gotten decent spins on flat. That thing isnt staying put on flat green.
Just me, or anyone else find that incredibly wholesome? I'd love to play a round with these boys!! The support they give each other is great through the mental struggle!! Would be a dream come true ❤

It's so cool to see them taking this challenge on. Some exceptional shots! He's exactly the kind of golfer id love to teach. Great attitude and loves it enough to get frustrated but keep going. Always great watching the pro's but this was great fun to watch! I've sent it straight to a bunch of my golfers already :)
They may have not got a hole in one, but the time these three spent together is has value in itself. Good job men

I took up golf 2 years ago and one of the greatest elements is to play a round with my brother which we have done around 6 times now. These lads look to be close and their shots were good but made better with the comradeship that shone through. Happy Birthday Jamie see you next time I am down in Cornwall.

I worked out the random odds based on it being a 1 in 12,500 chance. The chances of them getting a hole in one within 500 attempts is 1.8% which is around 55/1. These are random odds which don't take frustration or tiredness into account.

Yes shows how difficult it is. Adds another layer difficulty when in around of golf you don't get to play the same hole twice.. Getting to play it 500 times should in theory make it much easier. PS: I've had a hole in one on a hole I'd never played before. Such a fluke and will probably never happen again but I'll never forget it.

Goes to show even decent players only hit 48% of greens and that was with 500 balls. We think we should be hitting ever GIR with one ball a hole. Unless it’s a 3 ball scramble, then is 300% GIR.
