Andy Sullivan tries to make a hole-in-one with 500 balls
Спорт
European Tour Originals presents the Chase The Ace Hole-In-One Challenge, episode 3. How many balls would it take a professional golfer to make a hole-in-one? The odds of an average golfer making an ace are roughly one in 100,000, while stats suggest a European Tour pro's chances are closer to one in 2,500. Introducing Andy Sullivan... With a day and 500 balls to play with on the 171-yard par three 11th hole on the Heritage Course at London Golf Club, we challenged the three-time European Tour winner to defy the odds. Could Englishman Sullivan succeed where Italian Edoardo Molinari and South African Brandon Stone could not and find that one, perfect shot? Here’s what happened…

it's really annoying how pissed he gets. I completely understand the odds and how incredible it is to get a hole in one..... but when you stay on one hole hitting one ball after another, it shouldn't even matter or be a big deal to get a hole in one. If someone takes hundreds of shots IN A ROW on the same hole and gets a hole in one, it just just be meh. So i dont understand why he's so emotional about it. Annoying.

The video shows less than 10 % of the shots, and obvisously the closest ones to the pin. I think talking about consistency would make sense if they put them all on the video. Underrated is one of the most overrated word of Internet comments :) I love Andy Sullivan, he is a funny fellow, but on a basically result oriented point of view, he is well below average since his peak year in 2015 with 3 wins on Europen Tour and a qualification for Ryder Cup 2016 (where he did very poorly as all Englishmen that year). No top 10 on Majors, no top 15 on WGC, no significant result for around 30 months… I'm afraid Beef and him are really struggling transforming huge popularity into good results. Great video though.
I love these challenges. He was so close so many times before he finally got it.
