Found these both for the same price, which would you recommend?

I got two Air Pros for Christmas, one for me and my 13 year old boy. He's very hard to get out and play, but loves it every time we take the dog for a run. But I'm left with wanting more. I pulled the trigger last night and bought the Ghost.. To me, in this video, the Ghost wins hands down. They are so close, the extra $500 is not even close to a consideration to spend for the "little" more you'd get for it.

I got my dual 500W motor Kaabo Mantis 8 from Kaabo for $999USD delivered. 26mph top speed, I'm seeing about a 19 mile real range. Pretty sweet!

In my opinion it's the Ghost hands down it's faster and $500 cheaper. In terms of breaks you could easily buy a hydraulic break kit for the Ghost and it would still be either the same price or cheaper then the Mantis 8. You simply cannot beat the Ghost in terms of value there's nothing else on the market like it right now.

I believe the outstorm is in the same class for its price range vs features. It's in its own class just like the ghost. Just a step above.

The Ghost has a way better start up torque & getaway speed A+!! + $500 less.+ Better frame and Dina volt battery,2 years limited warranty!!! 🔥👍👍😎. Can't beat that. Also better more range adjustable suspensions. 🔥 The winner is the Ghost 👍

ESG....can you please review the VSETT 9+ and 10+ scooters next???? I’ve heard good things about these scooters and I think they deserve a FULL REVIEW 👍🏼

Great video! I can't believe people are still ok with any tires less than 10". Anyway, since October 2020, I've owned the Gotrax XR elite (first EV for me), Ninebot max max G30lp and G30 P, Emove Cruiser, and now the Apollo Explorer. Apollo all the way! I commute around NYC (Manhattan mostly) and the Explorer is the perfect scooter for me. Should I ever find myself needing to upgrade to a dual motor EV, the Ghost (or maybe the Phantom?) would be my first choice!

Got the Ghost 22 its freakishly awesome! First time owner of any scooter here!

@@Matt-ns9ke 1200km no issues, got a V1 phantom for cheap so ride time is split between the two. Honestly Ghost is still my fav to run.

This comes down to price point. If someone had the money, they probably wont choose either of these beautiful escoots. I'd say ghost.

Hi everybody, any security features on the mantis?

My advice is to check battery manufacturer for scooters this year as I just found a Mantis 10 Dual with a different brand battery.

@@ElectricScooterJuice It's not that hars You name a category City - your light reliable lineup and then say apollo city 1, 2, 3 Explorer - your outdoorsy lineup, explorer 1, 2, 3 etc There is a reason why macbook is so successful- because macbook air, pro and for iPhone...5/6/7/8 and on When you do X, Z, Y, P - that's disrupts and confuses and ultimately lowers the value If you buy apollo ghost with hydraulic what's the model? ZXTCJENAY? When you sell it aftermarket...it's not clear which version it is

for dollar value, Apollo all the way, the Mantis doesn't have enough upside for the extra money, one area that is missed is customer service??

I prefer the Mantis. But the Ghost seems pretty good.

Hey ESG you should reach out to Apollo to get a stem shim they have for the Ghost which they claim fixes stem wobble. They are sending them for free to Ghost owners. You should install it and do a follow up.

Thanks. We've got a shim on the way. The stem is actually really really good as is, it's just not quite as good as the amazing Mantis 8 Pro stem. I don't think most riders will be bothered enough to want to change anything, but it's awesome that Apollo has responded so quickly to make the scooter even better.

Fluid Free Ride will help you out more than Apollo. Apollo likes to talk about their customer service, but from what I’ve seen, it’s all hot air.

@@Passport-Bro Apollo's customer service is amazing. I had one scooter with damage to it during shipping and another that had a mechanical flaw and both times they sent me replacements. This is why I just purchased my 3rd scooter from them.

I must be reading the wrong info for the mantis 8 pro. I just want the scooter that can actually do 40 mph and not this rated 40 mph but really does 32 mph like the nanrobot.

We're big fans of the Phantom. geni.us/paKH?track=YT I haven't ridden the Elite, but specs-wise a lot like the 10" Mantis base model we have here geni.us/nNf5Z?track=YT. Both are great scooters! I really prefer the thumb throttle of the Phantom to the trigger throttle of the Mantis, but some folks find the Phantom's throttle a bit abrupt in the fastest mode. -Paul

My Mantis 8 died a couple months in. KAABO USA may have had good support in the past but they don't even pick up their telephone anymore. Good luck Kaabo Owners. I'm out 1000 now... =(

@@l-Lucid-l the Wolf X pro is a 10in, 1100watt(each) dual motor 60 volt 28 a h smaller lighter version of the wolf 11. Claimed top speed of 43 miles an hour. It also has integrated side lights with adjustable settings from your phone and a new tail light with turning signals. There are videos of it out there on KZread. I have a DT Ultra and Speedway 4 almost three years and thousands of miles. My next scooter will be the Wolf X pro👍

@@jpoorr9973 with a 28ah battery And more sturdy suspension and frame I would assume the wolf would accelerate faster as well as have a higher top speed than a 60v z10x so it looks like a killer

Im confused as to the "tie" in speed...the Ghost has faster low end acceleration (where you need it most) and very clearly has higher top speed. Otherwise solid comparison.

Mini motors is really chill too maybe they would provide a Thunder for testing. There’s Barely any videos on yt of the zero 11x and wolf king, and the Thunder has really mediocre quality reviews . All the traffic would flow to your videos, you guys have the best reviews by far along with Wrong Way

I only have my P settings on lvl 2 on my ghost, and I’ve reached 38mph. 🤷‍♂️ it does everything I’ve wanted and more so far. 200miles on it!

@@Spursrule1969 except for all the ones they’ve already done on those entry level ones. Last I checked it’s electric scooter guide not snobby douche guide. Must be nice living where you can use nice dual motor jobs but where I am any scooter capable of going over 20 isn’t allowed on the streets while also having a law that says scooters are only allowed in the streets.

@@Spursrule1969 sounds like you need a clue, I’d be willing to bet more people have bought your “entry level” scooter as nearly everyone will first buy those before deciding scooters aren’t for them or a smaller percentage deciding to upgrade. The smarter move is to review all as that’s the larger market share. Did you buy a high end scooter as your first, or did you watch reviews and upgrade step by step?

Interesting. The Ghost has an IP rating where the Mantis doesn't. I don't have an opinion on which would work better, but I'm curious why you'd pick the Mantis for mud and snow?

Ip 54 to me is similar as to no rating unless it it is X7 or better in my mud and snow approval

Nah, I was injured on the way home from testing brakes on another scooter. Next time I won't try to turn off the GoPro while I'm riding a scooter where I've got the P-settings dialed in to kill-mode. :-D

Like fall asleep controlling the max and got pay attention to everything around me on the zero. Glad to hear doing better . Stay safe and get Raimer an agent get his singing career on.

Mantis 8 Pro is €1000 in Ireland. The plus is €900. Way better value here anyway.

If you CAN'T get help from Apollo during your purchase process - what kind of support do you think you are going to get if you have a problem with your scooter - DON'T DO IT !!!

I've spoken to reps plenty of times. They even reach out if you haven't replayed back with your question/problem. I have over 1100+ miles on my ghost.

I bet you hit 40mph one time and its back home and charge.

It's crazy but these things have massive batteries. For sure you'll get less range at top speed, but still many many miles
