I saw 2 people in a electric scooter... this scooter can do it?

It is set to cut off at 42.5 volts from the factory. That is at a stand still, not moving.

The BMS will cut it at the designated voltage, regardless if you're moving or not. Under load If the voltage sags down to the designated voltage cut off the BMS will cut power. . Unless this uses a more sophisticated system in which there is a communication between the BMS the controller to where the sag can be reduced by cutting torque under load in order to maximize range during low capacity. I'm not overly familiar with this scooter in particular so anyone can correct me if I am mistaken

Nope, have a kaabo mantis se, 60v scooter cut off is 52v, its dipped to 48v and keeps going, after rebound it would go back to 58.8v.

I would never get on one of those things without a mirror.

Yeah I know I was actually thinking I need to get one while I was on that ride. I have one on my other scooter and probably going to put the same on the Kaabo.

I noticed you left the turns signals on for most time. Do you think that affected the battery life time?

No, I don’t think so. They’re LEDs and hardly draw any power.

I just got one and my main complaint is the battery. I have to charge it everyday and my commute is under 5 miles

Have put two hours of ride/run time on one charge

I have almost hit deer a few times already. It is a little scary.

A guy I worked with got killed on his motorcycle when a deer jumped out in front of him. There are TONS of deer where Jeremiah and I live in SW Pennsylvania.

I wonder how hard it would be to install a seat.

Mmm if only there was a review between both Kaabo mantis 8 vs Varla Pegasus on Which one is better to get at the same budget price $1000.

There are a couple comparison videos. One of the videos, in the comments, someone wrote that the Mantis 8 was not built to last. A few things in noticed in almost all of the Pegasus videos- poor brakes that needed new pads constantly, screws and bolts that needed constant tightening, the “D ring” that holds the handlebars to the deck breaks almost immediately and a battery that some believe has cheap cells, plus customer service isn’t that great. None of these problems exist in the videos I’ve watched reviewing the Mantis 8. My gut feeling is “steer clear” especially with so many documented issues right out of the box.

I haven’t noticed any problems with range after that test.

They sell you a scooter & when it doesn't work, they will not refund your money, they will not give you another unit, they will barely even talk to you. NEVER buy any Kaabo products, there is ZERO support. It's like playing Russian roulette with your hard earned money. Terrible company with THE WORST customer service possible
