I bought this scooter by KaaboUSA and they have updated the features of the Mantis 8 as of November of 2021 1) A headlight on the handlebar,2) The Horn button works now a Beep Beep sound and 3) Indicator lights for Eco/Turbo and Single/Dual mode buttons.

On motorcycles, the front brake is also on the right. Not saying that the scooter is a motorcycle, but it’s pretty neat.

That's definitely a good base scooter to start w/ because I bet you can find a subreddit that knows how to modify the battery or the controller for more speed.... Great video Mike, your honest opinions about these scooters is appreciated, even though I might not buy one, I feel safe recommending it to someone else looking for something just based on your review so thank you. 😊

All motorcycle front breaks are on the right side . So if you are a motorcycle rider the right side is natural.

How do you change the kph to miles per hour? The instructions in manual aren’t right.

That’s a bummer their new direction these past few weeks is pretty lame IMO. They just go to the post office and film the cat.

I am thinking about buying Mantis 8 I'd want ECO (rear drive 48V 18.2Ah 800W Motor, Disc brake EABS), but I only have the option of getting PLUS (48v 18.2Ah 2 x 800W Motor, Semi Hydraulic brakes ) and PRO (48v 24.5Ah 2 x 800W Motor, Minimotors Controller and throttle, full hydraulic brakes, LG battery ) Now, the main thing that makes me wanna get the mantis 8 is the tires are tubeless - could anyone tell me if there is any other brands/models aside from EMOVE Cruiser and Ninebot Max that have tubeless pneumatic tires? while being light enough Also, out of the 3 models which would you suggest? I am leaning on the ECO, but can't find it, my only concern is should you spend x2 more for LG batteries if you don't need 75km range (I only need like 20-30km in a day)
