Guys, here is some food for thought, please: ALL of my docs strongly advise against eating raw fish and other seafoods due to the great risk of contracting parasitic infections. I stay away from it and especially in countries which don't look to be the most sanitary, such as the one you are in. I mean, I'd eat poke and such in Japan and Hawai'i, but not where you folks are, I don't reckon anyway.

Oh, and FYI (sorry to be such a commentary hog, but, I have a few things to say): I love photos and footage of all the foods people eat. Food for we foodies, are the best parts of videos, I have found.

Guys, please do not suffer fools gladly. If folks are too bloody loud, then by all means bang on their door and tell them to cut the heck out / knock it off! You CAN do that. Foam earplugs work brilliantly as well. I sleep with them all the time! HEAROS makes great earplugs!

I have to say, I knew next to nothing about Sri Lanka and their citizens. Very impressed. This is personally one of my favorite episodes you've posted. I thoroughly enjoyable watching it!

Check out the Tea country up in the Hills in Nuwaraliya, and also the ancient cities of Annuradhapura and Polannaruwa. Make sure to see the Bo Tree at Anuradhapura where the Buddha saw enlightment or Nirwana. The tree is among the oldest in the world. And of course Sigiriya, one of ten wonders of the world. Cargils and Keels are two largest grocery chains on the Island.

It's a wise move to stop and wait for the elephant. In some case when a bull elephant is being rejected by the group..it can be aggressive. As vehicles were passing without incident..this bull must be with a group nearby...he is just taking a break...😊😊

I think people honk at you most of the time is you are driving middle of the road and in there way. In the tuk tuk you feel that you are traveling fast, but it is not. One night I took a tuk tuk to travel back home after late work. It tool me 1H 65Min, Normally In other vehicle it will take less than an hour.

Always carry certain amount of cash, ATMs notorious for running dry especially towards weekends and around touristy areas 👍

I don’t think any locals in Sri Lanka drink coke zero or diet coke so you are unlikely to get that in shops. It is not a good idea to leave your luggage unattended, chances of them getting stolen is very high. You are lucky!,

As a Sri Lankan I would say yes. Most of our people, especially people in rural areas think that westerners have a lot of money.
