I hope Irish people who want a future for their children take a long hard look at current govt policies. There is no point moaning about the sell out if you dont vote for someone who will change policy. Standing up to the EU would be a great starting point.

That's a bit late. The Government voted through to accept illegal immigrants in a 3 hour debate last Tuesday night Other EU countries broke the 13000 pages down into 7 sections and voted on each part over a TEN YEAR PERIOD This Government rushed it through in a 3 hour session last week Shameless

We are seriously lacking any real alternative in this country.

Not if they keep Mary Lou is at the helm. No way. She is the reason the ship is sinking.

Ivan Yates talking about SF showing humility, like running off to Wales and filing for bankruptcy owing how many people how much money? There is an awful lot of humility in that isnt there?

I'm not Ivan's biggest fan but you obviously do not know the facts about Ivan's situation. If you read the facts instead of spouting your opinion you would know that Ivan made a settlement offer to AIB that would have paid back nearly all the debt. AIB decided to make an example of him leaving Ivan no option but to file for bankruptcy in the UK. Thats the problem with people who read headlines instead of the story.

ivan is a down to earth man in real life, a top political analyst,why label him a failed busoness man. evryone dont be a michel o leary,,its not relevant to bring in a comment like that as the bookmaking industy is a different issue and topic to analyis about politices.😃

SF stand zero chance, their open door policies on economic migrants, will be the rock they sunk on. New Ireland all they way with common sense policies
