@delroytomlinson5339 ; But Shericka peaked at the WC trials and ran 10.6, but then ran 10.7 at the World Championships. Your theory doesn't hold up. She was beaten when she clocked 10.6 at trials; what do you think will happen now that she's running 10.8? Do you believe she has any chance? Sha'Carri would have to make a significant mistake, such as a false start, a very poor start, or even injury for anyone to beat her. Otherwise, she is the clear favorite.

@@stevechicco1158 Please read my comments again. I did say that Shacarri is the favorite to win. Also based on your comments it is clear that Sherika is being managed differently this time round to ensure that she peaks at the Olympics. There is a reason why MVP has been so very successful over the years. Don't forget. It would be foolish to rule out the MVP Paul & Stephen Francis trained athlete. So Yes While Shacarri is indeed the clear favorite going into the Olympics. Favorites are not automatic winners. That's why we run the races.

That's a very good question. I think Shericka really needs to run against Sha'Carri to see where she stands. She seems to be in decent form but the Jamaican women for the most part seem a little bit more lackluster this year not terrible but not "electrifying" like that last few years. Tia Clayton is one big surprise and good one at that for Jamaica's upcoming talent having come second beating out Shelly ann Fraser-Pryce who it must be said still doesn't look her normal sharp self.

Mr. Lloyd, I'm going to push back on a few things. Shericka sat in the block and everyone got out on her, however the rest of her race was very good. She wasn't all over the place like you said. As a matter of fact, the last 50 meters was excellent. She kept her form, had high knees and ran tall which is who its taught to everyone. Nothing about the rest of her race was "terrible". Having a really bad start does NOT make the rest of her race horrible, and in fact the proper execution of the rest of her race is what got her the win and not "raw power". Her technique was not " all over the place" as you put it. I will go even further and say, her last 50m was the best in the field from a "technical" perspective. To use a term of yours....."go back an look at the video" 🙂. The second thing I wish to push back on is (and I dont know why it bothers me), but you keep saying "aka...Superwoman". You're the only one I hear calling her that so I dont think she's "known" as that🤣. She's aka "Jacko" by many. The next is.....I dont think Sha'Carri is in better (or worse) form than last year because "the numbers" dont show it. She was running faster in April of last year than she did this year and got a Bronze medal in the 200m at worlds when she didn't even qualify this year. I'm not sure what you see that makes her in better form than last. Finally.....Advising MVP to fix the technical aspects (and by that I think you mean the start) of her race is really funny. Her start is constantly a work in progress and they're well aware of it. I find it amusing because I don't think you would advise an Engineer how to do his job or a Doctor how to diagnose. 😂. IF Franno cant fix it....then its on the athlete. Bottom line is....Shericka was caught sleeping in the block. It happens.

Frano indicated in the past, concerning Shericka losing in WC 100m to Shacarrie that he would do his business differently in the future. Hence I think the strategy here is to peak a little later. I could see how he came up with this strategy considering that Shericka destroyed Shacarrie in the 200 m shortly after. I think it is all a mistake. Shericka in the world championship allowed Shacarrie to run the type of race she Shericka should have ran. Shericka tried to go out too hard, unnecessarily in the WC. Now delaying Shericka's fitness is even more dangerous , as I think it now more difficult for Shericka to run a 10:6x. The good news is that Shericka is the better Athlete and really only needs to win the 100m for a big pay Day !
