Shanoya Douglas has entered Brianna Lyston territory in the 200m. Brianna ran 22.53 to win the class One 200m at Champs 2022 at that point she was 18 years old. Douglas ran 22:59 to win the 2024 National Junior title. This is a class two athlete transitioning to first year class one. This is awesome. I pray her health and prosperity. Health and prosperity to Brianna Lyston and all our athletes.

@ kenjardo Thanks you said a mouthful. We do not need any help from foreigners, exploiting us, intransits, " RUNNING IN AND OUT OF OUR LIVES". They have no Loyalty to our country people , but just a free meal, athletically. I hope that WORLD ATHLETICS, AND IOC, IMPLEMENT A RULE THAT, TO REPRESENT ANY COUNTRY , NOT OF BIRTH, YOU HAVE TO LIVE, RESIDE PERMANENTLY FOR 5 YEARS PRIOR AS A CITIZEN. That woman babsy grange is a TRAITOR OF OUR COUNTRY and people. HOW CAN SHE BE MINISTER OF CULTURE, AND AGGRESSIVELY, IMPORTING FOREIGN CULTURE INTO OUR COUNTRY

Commentator got it wrong. Douglas didn’t had to play catch up she did well to hold off the challenges from the inside lanes on the curve and held the ascendancy as they hit the straight then she pulled away. The 400m race an hour earlier took its toll on Skylar. We await a rematch in 200m and a match up in the 400m where Douglas is also a premium athlete. Their future is bright.
