manga spoilers warning I think there’s a case to be made that Megumi still hasn’t lost his Mahoraga. We’ve already seen that Higuruma’s domain distinguishes between Sukuna and Yuji, so if the ten shadows technique works the same way (which would make sense), Megumi didn’t lose his Mahoraga, but he also didn’t tame it

The ten sahdows doesn't distinguish between souls, because sukuna could immediately use nue after taking over megumi, without ever taming it.

@@lordgrub12345no. That was the summoning ritual. If it is killed by the summoner, it is tamed, if it’s killed by an outsider, the ritual is void. So as long as the shikigami isnt tamed, it can be summoned as a ritual over and over.

If the user receives help, the ritual doesn't count. Megumi could've summoned an untamed Mahoraga 100 times and have it be killed by someone else, theoretically. The spirits only become "vulnerable" once they're tamed spirits.

I'd say Megumi can't summon Mahoraga anymore because when Sukuna added a new rule the announcer said Megumi added it. So since Gojo killed Mahoraga, Megumi can no longer summon it

Higuruma’s domain distinguishes between Sakuna and Yuji, so it might distinguish between sakuna and megumi, if we go by this principle, Megumi didn’t lose his Mahoraga, but he also didn’t tame it

In Shibuya, it wouldn't have counted because Megumi started the ritual, and Sukuna defeated Mahoraga as an outsider. It would've needed to be soloed by Megumi in that case, or soloed by Sukuna off-screen.

About Mahito and Tengen merged with humanity. I think the user's question started from the parallel between Mahito being the curse of humanity and the Curse created from the merger between Tengen and humanity. I also don't think Mahito will come back. However, this merged curse could have some similarities with Mahito, maybe aesthetically or in skills.

I’m not sure about that though because Sukuna says this line to Mahoraga during the fight with Gojo (I’m paraphrasing) “You’re my shadow; not Megumi Fushiguro’s “…. So I thought it may be possible that Megumi could summon Mahoraga, since technically it’s not him who is in charge of the body nor is it him commanding Mahoraga. But we’ll see I suppose.

If the merger curse was very similar to mahito, I would found that really cool.

I actually thought of the Mahito thing as well. I think the reason that person asked that question is because it’s a cursed spirit born of both tengen and humanity. Mahito is the humanity curse spirit which makes some sense as to why this might speed up the process of Mahito returning but as a giant monstrous form. Imagine “Mahito” strolling around like jaeger from AOT Turning everyone into cursed monsters. I don’t think it will look like Mahito but it will embody the same essence as him. It also harkens back to yuji claiming no matter how many times Mahito is reborn yuji will always be there to kill him. I dont personally think that will happen but I believe that’s what the person who asked the question was thinking of. (Also I want to add that the reason the curse spirit looks so much like jaeger from AOT could just be a reference by gege. He has referenced Naruto, Bleach, and multiple other manga in JJK it wouldn’t surprise me if the curse spirit turns out to be just a humanoid form other than what kenjaku envisioned.)

Maybe IF Megumi could use "Domain Ampliflaction".

I just wanted to see more fusions, but Sukuna really highlighted the versatility which made Gojo’s story about the two heads offing each other not so far fetched… Sukuna is still a rat

I like how this was also a foreshadow of Gojo getting "Tamed" off screen by Sukuna. 😂

My theory is that all of Megumi’s shikigami, the culmination of all of it’s techniques and cursed energy is going to be passed onto Megumi himself Where Megumi has access to Mahoraga’s strength and adaptation, he’ll also have access to rct through the deer as well as the other abilities The cursed energy and remnants of Mahoraga and the other shikigami have no where else to go, so instead it’s all passed down to Megumi Fushiguro

What shikigami dous Megumi have left? Is the Dog still alive, i know the Agito whas like 3 shikigami in one and it died. I think Nue and the rabit is still alive. The deer i think died and mahoraga died.

IIRC, when fusions die, the individual shikigami don't get destroyed Edit: it's true, but Agito is a Nue totality, so he has lost Nue, Great Serpent, Tiger Funeral, Round Deer, the white Divine Dog and Maho, of course

I'm talking about the anime only rn.. Megumi can still do the subjugation ritual with Mahoraga since it wasn't killed while it was tamed but this also means Megumi hasn't TAMED it himself. Realistically, he'd be able to summon it but he won't be able to control it Manga Spoilers ahead Mahoraga was killed via Gojo's Hollow Purple so there's no way Megumi would be able to use it if he gets separated from Sukuna as it was already killed. He might be able to use it in totalities though.. probably a mass totality with all the shikigami but idk

Most of the others we saw Sukuna trying out in his battle with the reincarnated sorcerer that loved him. Sukuna directly summoned and tamed every shikigami while on Megumi's body, so it should count for him after Sukuna's out.

Ngl , megami is better dying off , he got no shikigamis left , he's mentally destroyed and his brain is completely fried. I think that is all because of yuji because when sukuna took his heart, before he died he said to megami that he wants him to live along life , (he cursed megami) megami is technically is still alive but vegetables, so as long as sukuna is alive he is alive too, which kinda translate that sukuna isn't going to die anytime soon , he might even win.

Manga Spoilers: Sukuna used Nue right away, without a ritual. Which means they share the same shikigamis. So, if Mahoraga wasn't killed, and Megumi came back, he could use it.

The technique starts from scratch for every new user. Otherwise no one would be able to summon anything anymore with a technique thousands of years old. Only Mahoraga was undefeated until now.

megumi will come back as an special grade sorcerer and will summon mahoragga to end with his missery

Soo, now that mahoraga is dead, his powers were transfered to the remaining shikigamis, If megumi manages to come back he will be really strong

He was on his last legs and just moments away from dying from his wounds. Summoning Mahoraga put him into a stasis like state that could keep him alive until either A. His allies healed him and took down Mahoraga or the much more likely B. Mahoraga easily kills Haruta and then he dies anyway. Potential man really lucked out with Sukuna

No it didnt count because he was an outsider, Megumi must defeat it on his own or else it won't count and he'll have to do it again.

Hate to intervene, but while Megumi can't get help during the ritual, Megumi is now Sukuna, which flips the game (he got help from [sukuna] himself, which is the equivalent of following the rules). That win that Sukuna has in Shibuya over Mahoraga now works only for Sukuna. Sukuna is the only one who beat it, he didnt get help taming it since everyone else got knocked out immediately.

He simply just didn't. Cursed techniques don't always show up. If Gojo had a kid there would be no guarantee that the kid would inherent limitless

I dont think he can use mahoraga.

Can’t knock the hustle , but if you gonna charge these people atelast make sure your correct , yes megumi can’t technically summon him because he never tamed him , if he was to get his body back his soul would be back in tact and he can try to tame his own one Sakuna is recognized as the one who tamed him he stated it himself in the fight with Gojo before we seen him slice Gojo arm off so you should correct this
