If Homelander Was Charged For His Crimes In The Boys (2019) & Gen V (2023)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Homelander is the leader of The Seven, the strongest Supe in the world and with the face of a movie star and the powers of a god, Homelander is considered the greatest superhero alive. Had he been arrested after the events of Gen V (2023), these are the criminal charges he would have faced.
Our exploration extends beyond fiction as we draw parallels to real-world scenarios. We examine cases of real-life criminals and their prosecutions, drawing on legal expertise to examine the likelihood of Homelander’s criminal activities leading to actual charges.
Please note that the video you are about to watch is entirely fictional and is produced solely for the purpose of raising awareness on the consequences of committing a crime. The scenes depicted in this video are not real and do not reflect any actual events or persons. We do not condone or promote any illegal or unethical behaviour, and this video is intended to serve as a cautionary tale to deter individuals from engaging in criminal activity.

Can we really say that homelander ever killed anyone in self defence? He is basically immortal for those people, they cannot even slightly harm him. He is more than capable to disarm and handcuff all those people.

criminalvibez I know this example is slightly (a lot) exaggerated, but when 6 yo boy would me I technically should defend myself, but there is a little amount of damage for him to cause to me. Instead of going full attack on him I can, I do not know, hold him or even just go around. For homelander everyone is like 6yo, even less.

That's actually a good point. People get harsher sentences depending on what a "reasonable person" would do in that situation and everyone/the jury/your peers vote on that. I think everyone here at the very least can agree that a "reasonable person" in his situation would have simply pushed around and disarmed them

  • @Grzybexiak

@@leminer4049 I would go that far and say that he should not even be brutal, I mean when disarming someone he would need to use a 0,000001% of his strength. Absolutely no laser eyes, no punching, pushing, nothing. He should treat everyone as now adults treat children. You can be firm, sometimes shout but never go violent. Because he is in no danger from anybody. Except compound V people, but this is a different story.

In the plane, Homelander started on helping people, even if we say he did everything to the best of his abilities, this does not change the fact, that he then left everyone to die. The law against omission of assistance sees it as given, that if you start helping someone, you need to see it through to the end to the best of your abilities or until a specialist takes over. Homelander leaving without any passenger after his extremely daft attempt to save the plane, despite being able to carry at least on more person mandates an omission of assistance.

Yeah none of these killings are self defense. The requirement for deadly force to be used in self defense is a reasonable fear of extreme bodily injury and Homelander is never in any serious danger in any of these situations. The only thing that could reasonably be considered self defense is when he blinded Maeve because she’s strong and he didn’t kill her, but the force was not proportional because she could not ever actually hurt him, which is another requirement for self defense

Homelander is so invincible, that he can basically with a snap of his finger arrest anyone with no harm to anybody, he could also just run away from Maeve instead of fighting back and he has super reflex, so it can't be said that any damage he did was done by his self-defense instincts, only by his emotions, which can't be used as a defense in order to completely pardon someone. He fought back to Maeve not because he actually felt threatened, but because she couldn't get away with her behaviour.

Wouldn't Homelander's actions at Herogasm actually constitute as self-defense since Butcher, Hughie and Soldier Boy only went to the event to forcefully remove Homelander's powers and then kill him?

  • @nicknamed1267

You can't really claim self defense if you intentionally show up to fight a guy to the death IIRC.

3:02 for one you should use a normal voice or even chatgpt that sounds normal and human like in nature articulated second thing is that the people and the pilot had not been killed homelander knew he could have done something else. but didnt its confirmed that he destroyed the controls on purpose final thing is that many youtubers have confirmed he couldve saved the plane he had tons of chances these include at least finding every last parachute possible. so that even if by free fall they will have an emergency lift method holding it from near the under and or having queen mave also slow it down is another finally he intentionally neglected to save even one life due to his ego as he said the company that make super heroes all wants profit and he didnt care as they had the power and did rule it as an accident not a failure to not try.

@@cinemacop Homelander's fault, he has ultra speed and reflex, which is proven by the fact that he saved Butcher from the explosion. This means that he was acting reckless on the plane and can be charged with involuntary manslaughter and property damage.

I was confused. Did he actually rape Rebecca. Looked like she willingly went in and somewhat safely went out. Though she looked more guilty/disgusted than horrified. Though i guess if someone as strong and deadly and scary as Homelander threatened me, i would just give in to save my life.
