On red lights in general: You can't turn a red colored lightbulb on and expect similar benefits. Red or NIR light "devices" that provide the purported benefits discussed in the video emit specific wavelengths at a specific wattages, and the device is supposed to be placed a certain distance (usually very close) from your skin or wherever you wanna apply it. The particular device I use is called a Joovv. You can pick one up here: joovv.com/wil (Use code "WIL" for a discount) Studies have found red light can be overdone, but this is usually from testing higher wattages of the red/NIR light. In any case, stick to the duration for each session and distance from your skin that the manufacturer recommends.

I have been doing red light therapy for years. ONLY near infrared light is suitable for long term use(it is actually a nutrient for cells but science still needs to catch up), far infrared is too similar to microwave spectrum waves and causes radiation damage. Oh, and also, you dont need to spend hundreds of dollars on a premade device. Buy a near infrared red light bulb and a clamp for it, it's about $30-40 at home depot. You can even buy two or more of these pairs and then hang them over your body.

My step dad, who has had parkinson's for ten years, got a red light "bucket" for his head, and it's worked! Within about a month he'd had remarkable improvement in the shakiness of his hands. You have to use consistently to see change but definitely worth investing in it. Not a cure but does help a lot :) Also my mum was using it too and a scar she'd had on her ear for years and years went away!

egg or chicken?
@666bro
3 жыл бұрын
@@ancala4140 When a zebra and a horse mate, they produce a new species, a zorse (haha such funny name). Applying this logic, two bird species mated to create a new type of bird which we call chicken. A bird could not mutate into a chicken, change its species, in its lifetime, so the chicken (in egg form) came to be when two different bird species mated, creating the egg which grew to become the chicken. So, egg came first via race-mixing. EDIT: Of course, in the case of the Zorse, it is infertile. The chicken was a successful fertile result, which doesn't happen often, I guess... (end edit) Paradox reconciled with race-mixing progressive views as a bonus. I think I never need to comment on anything else again, thank you haha

@@666bro That's a really lovely idea, buttttt that's not really how evolution and the creation of new species works sadly. New species aren't made by joining separate species together (indeed, by definition members of different species *always* produce infertile off-spring if anything at all). Instead they are the process of small, random and gradual mutations over thousands, millions of years, some of which happen to survive and reproduce better. Also, "progressive race-mixing" is an odd-term since A: races and species are entirely separate, all humans are the same species (all produce fertile off-spring with each other): homo sapiens. And biologists have found that despite *apparent* differences between races (skin, face, eyes etc.) you are more different from another white person than the average white person is from the average black person. Our differences between members of the same race are larger than differences between races! All the general differences we see are social and cultural, not biological.

The quality of your videos just keeps going up. Love your work man!
They have solariums for horses on a lot of yards now. Big curved red light machines that suspend from the ceiling over a horse tied up in a stable or grooming room. We used to do 15-30 minute sessions on them, and sometimes use it to speed up drying if they were getting prepped for competition or showing. But whenever I would do some grooming or massage under the red light I would feel great too. The light is warm, in a nice 'take a nap in the sun' kind of way, the colour of the light is strangely soothing, and in general I would just feel really happy and calm afterwards, compared to if I wasn't stood under it, grooming outside or something. And I'm not someone who generally enjoys heat, I get hot too quickly and generally avoid the sun or sources of heat, but I always loved working in the solarium.
@aswellyoushould411
3 жыл бұрын
This is really nice. I love that both you and the horses were happy. When you feel warmth from the light, you are getting infrared heat. That heat is healing and calming, but it actually is not "red light therapy." When using infrared as a light rather than a heat source, the wavelengths set off an energy creation chain at the cellular level. It's very likely that the horse device created red light therapy, infrared light therapy, as well as infrared heat therapy.
