Can I Fix the Troublesome Power Steering on this V8 S-Type?
Even thought the engine swap was done months ago on the V8 Jaguar S-type, the power steering keeps giving issues. I have sourced a pump that should work and should fit. Can I fix the troublesome power steering on thie V8 S-type?

Yeah, Had an X308 can confirm the battery thing is the same, an amazing amount of Ford branded electrical bits on this era of cars.

HI Adam . This must be the engine swap ? I can recall in the mid '70's as a 23 year old , charging upto my mothers pub in Shaldon and having to execute a very quick and alert left lock to perform the perfect 180° to quickly reverse into our parking slot in my 4.2 series 1 XJ6 auto . Occcasionally the belt would slip on the PAS and it was a very sudden loss of assistance that caused some hairy close calls with my neighbours house ! Thanks Adam
Hey there, I’ve been following you since you first posted and love the passion you show for the old jags 😅 . I am in search of an advice… my 1992 xj40 stopped working due to fuel pump failure, I have unplugged the harness and test it and it looks like there is no power? Fuel pump Relay works when key is in position 2…. Do you have any suggestions? Ps, I have decided to try and fix it myself but il looks like I ran out of ideas. Thanks in advance and keep up good work.
Presumably the later pump was an improved design ?
