CONGRATULATIONS on 1000 Subscribers. It took you 5 months, but really 3., as you first video was 5 months ago, but really, you didnt really start posting since 3 months ago. 60 videos is a very common average for people to get to 1000 subs. Again, it is a milestone, now you can monotize and get somewhere between 2 to 13 dollars for every 1000 views. I know, it aint much, but it will help pay for your service. I am so happy for you. Excellent video. One of the things I am frustrated with is that Can Am is lacking as far as the tech. BUT I’m living with it and loving it every time I ride!

I bought my 2022 Spyder F3 LTD new in 2023. I have the old display too. I don't use their technology. I use my iPhone for music and navigation. I need to upgrade the power source since their onboard USB doesn't maintain my iPhone charge when I run multiple applications (music and Waze). For such an expensive bike, you would expect better user interfaces. Never got a survey.

So I have a brand new 2024 RT SEA TO SKY. I have suspension fault codes I cannot play Media The only thing I can play is the radio… the screen does look better than the 2023 months that I will give them credit for customer service from Double has totally been lacking. I have called them numerous times they tell me to go to my dealer. I also bought advex hell with the vibe communication system. I was having issues and they told me to go see my dealer. I told them I have my dealer doesn’t know how to use it either so you are correct on some of the display issues and some of the stuff I see a lot of issues with people very upset. The Apple CarPlay does not work. I agree with them, but is not a total dealbreakerI can still ride my bike for all the faults

In the last 12 months I purchased a new Rt & and Sea to sky. No survey. I don't use their (BRP) technology. I have a Garmin Zumo XT2 connect to my Cardo and my Cardo to my apple phone . I. hooked up an aftermarket motorcycle apple CarPlay to my wife's bike which is connected to her Cardo and apple phone. Improvement? I added motorcycle mirrors to both bikes. I'm find with the instrument cluster. However, I would like to see them make the gear position numbers much larger. Also, I like to see more slack in the wiring harness going to the handle bars to make adding short reach bars easier. Pretty much love everything about the bikes! stay safe

Recently purchased a used 21 RT. I don't receive any emails from BRP. I haven't figured out yet how to set the presets for radio stations. I just figured out how to use my IPOD for music. Still waiting for you to retest your mileage comparison using ECON for stop and go driving. I haven't figured out how to sync my phone or helmet to the unit yet. Keep on motoring.

The stop and go test won’t be for a while. I’ve got too many in the lineup right now.

Like #1. The F3 and the Sea to Sky has the new display, dont know about the regular display. I watch Spyder channerls from all over, and a general concern is also the radio/stero, most people have some kind of issue with it. To my understanding your isssue is the trip meter? Love my spyder !!! Yes gas mileage sucks!!! Brakes squeak!!! And I can’t tell you how much time we’ve wasted trying to get Apple car play to work!, is really annoying to say the least 🤬🤬🤬 but still enjoy getting out on the road with my wife!!! Nothing is perfect but all the adds they ran on how the new display was a game changer 🤣🤣🤣 gotta laugh about it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I love my 2024 Sea to Sky. I agree that the lack of CarPlay is a mistake. They gave me an extra year of coverage because of the CarPlay.

I received it yesterday and filled it out. At the end there is a place to make comments, and I gave them an ear full, everything from poor gas mileage, to slow boot-up of the bike before you start it, to the display, to intuitive controls, etc. In addition, an engine with better gas mileage I suggested they talk to BMW or Honda on all the issues. A rider shouldn’t have to look down, taking his/her eyes off the road, at the top of the fuel tank to turn on heated seats or grips or adjust the windshield. The wizwheel that BMW uses would be perfect to access everything.

The dash you’re using is a Bosch design as is their Canbuss computer system. So you can blame them more so then Can Am. I got the email as well. The 2023’s are roughly $1,500 more partially because of licensing agreements for Apple CarPlay. I managed our fleet and each vehicle that had CarPlay had a $900 upfront cost.

I have a 2016 RTL and the main issue I have is that I am on my third cam position sensor. Supply chain problems kept the bike down for months and neither Bombardier or the dealers were of any help. I do my own service as warranties have expired and parts availability is a big problem. Would consider trading for a Sea to Sky, but I have heard of so many electronic and sensor issues with that model that I am hesitant to make a change. I am a lifelong motorcyclist(75 years,300k miles), and basically love the bike. But things could be better.

I bought an RTL 2022 a few months ago and still cannot figure out how to select the presets on the radio.

Never heard a word.

It been on my bucket list since I was a child to go the fall in a barrel, can one still do that or is it illegal? Guess the older I get, (50), the more hesitant I get. lol

I wouldn’t recommend it.

You should invent or get a rain cover to cover you while you drive in the rain so you don’t get wet at the red lights…

No Spyder as yet, I am quite confussed by the different screens, I like the look of is the colour one but I am not sure what year this was launched? I wonder if they will bring out and electric Spyder or something completely new? I think they should have considered all platforms not just Apple but cater for Andriod users. The set up needs to be more user friendly PNP, as you say the pre-sets for the music functions is a prime example.

My screen has some color, but the 2024 models have a much improved screen.

I don’t see them changing anything at all anytime soon. There is no competition in this sector so no need to improve. There is no major difference between the F3 and the RT internally that are the same. I still think we are suffering the effects of the virus as far as parts and quality control. It’s funny you mentioned the radio as I’m always surprised people still use it. I run my entertainment through my phone. But when I replaced my stock antenna with a stubby on the F3T I found the antenna wire was not connected go figure. I got both those emails and they were interesting we shall see. I do think it’s strange that they came out with a new display and interface then they put out survey? You would think ask first build second.

My guess is they will be revamping the display in the next year or two. Hopefully they will revamp a lot more.

@@heystarfish100 I've said what I believe. I know of a couple KZreadrs that have been selected as ambassadors. If you really think BRP cannot find out who a KZreadr is and where he is, then I'm certainty not here to convince you. You are beyond convincing.

Sony? Intuitive? You are joking of course. They are the WORST manufacturer for user interface. Just convince BRP to fully integrate Apply Car Play & Android Auto to play on the screen and overlay the fuel, mile odometer etc.

@@SpyderMinimalist I think it's great and good on you for all your input to the cause. I am sure they are watching as you are a mobile almost real time feed on the Spyder RT. The interface is frankly dreadful and can't believe after all these years they think the 2024 model year is some sort of big improvment. It is of course over previous but even then, they can't get that right either. Love watching your shows, I have the exact same bike, color spec etc as yours, grabbed one of the last 2023 modles here in the UK. Cheers!!
