When sitting in a chair and table (a normal situation where both parties obviously know how to sit correctly) stressed people are more likely to adapt a more defensive/introvert posture which isn't very helpful getting to know a strange person. To counter that you can make the seating more random and foreign, therefore both parties can either choose to follow the opposite partner in his/her posture or (which is this case for a low cushion) the most comfortable sitting posture they can find themselves into. But that's just my thought. It could also be cuz of lighting ^^

Like I get you want a cool set, but do some comfy chairs, or at least give them pillows and couches to rest their backs against or something! I met a woman, we went on 2 dates. It felt like we were supposed to be together. Told her I was going to marry her. She said ok. We drove to Vegas got married. Left chapel, I said now we have to get to know each other. She texted 2 other guys she was dating and told them she got married. I about died laughing. Found out couple months later our birthdays were on same day. It's been weird but 10 years later and still together.

I love this venue for a first date, the lighting and the tea, even the seating are perfect!. The questions allow for meaningful conversation about who we really are. It's touching to see the beauty of ones soul on a blind date. Love the couple too!

and I love the way they start off giggling but then end up getting serious and intense as the 4 minutes pan out.
