Lol most ppl can’t even help but seek acceptance & validation through others.. & since the media is so overly sexualized & judgemental, ppl seem to seek those things through partners or just sex period almost subconsciously because it’s so “socially acceptable” to talk about sex so often & openly nonstop- and so commonly praised for in daily society. So we learn from birth what behaviors are known to get the fastest & best positive reaction & attention from others. That is proven to get you popular in school. Proven to get the attention of whoever you’re interested in. So once it’s done without thinking it through first, you’re just left with well Wtf did I do that for by the end of it.

Men and women are not the same. Men are not guaranteed to be the biological parent unlike women. Men rely on a lack of promiscuity for paternity. If you look at the statistic you also see that partner count increases divorce and negatively affects marital happiness. Men are the ones that get destroyed in divorces and family court. They risk not seeing their own children and the financial damage can hinder their ability to date. The more partners the higher the chance she never got over one of them. No man wants the attacks on his status by other men talking about intimacy with his wife. Pregnancy is a risk women have that makes her more selective, that means the bar is higher for men, and thus getting many women takes skill an gets praise. We are just not the same. Green flags for men are red flags for women. And feminism is not doing women a favor by lowering women's value measured by men's innate biological preferences. Men will always seek a partner who has not had a lot of previous partners, because it's simply the best, and risk reducing choice.

I feel like there’s this new idea that to be sexually liberated means to be with as many people as you want/can but that’s really not what’s important. What’s important is that you feel safe and happy when you’re having sexual experiences. I’ve seen people go out and have meaningless one night stands because they say they are liberating themselves, and in reality what they’re doing is sharing themselves with people who don’t deserve or care about them. It’s a dangerous idea especially for younger women

I get what you’re saying but I think there’s more to it. Sex has risk involved, HOWEVER that doesn’t mean it has to be everything we were taught growing up(assuming there were conversations at home) it really can just be the physical, no emotion or anything involved. The value of sex is different to us all. If I’m night stands are liberating to you then that’s great! It’s not dangerous for all young women, or men or any other folks. It certainly can be but that doesn’t mean we should shame or vilify those who enjoy that lifestyle

I agreed with you until the last part. Like you said what’s important is that people feel safe and happy. I think it’s crazy how people act like it’s okay that someone has a high body count 50+ people but when someone says they’re a virgin they literally can’t believe it and make that person feel bad. They can’t imagine their lives without it and they can’t fathom why somebody would not be having sex since to them it’s so amazing. With that mindset being spread across social media like KZread and tiktok more people think it’s weird being a virgin which sucks because it’s not true. :/ I feel like it sends a bad message to younger people saying in order to fit in and be happy you should be having sex which is so so so not true

It's important to note that sex isn't important to everyone. Not everybody wants to have sex, and as an asexual person, I've had people disregard my sexuality and tell me, "I just haven't found the right person yet." But sexuality is a spectrum, and it's important to be inclusive, and not impose your own hateful or judgmental thoughts and opinions on others. Edit 2: Thank you for all the ace people /allys in my comment section, sadly there's alot of hate and stigma against us aro/ace people, but I'm happy we can stick together. Much love to you all. Edit for those who don't seem to understand the purpose of my original comment: Asexuality, isn't a thought or opinion, it's a sexuality that many people identify as, much like all the other sexualites. The purpose of this response was to comment on the video talking about sex and body counts, and explaining that not everybody is interested in sex. This is a direct response to the comment the lady made in the beginning video, when stating that having a body count of zero was depressing. I was simply bringing light to the fact, that having a lack of sexual experience isn't a bad thing for everybody. At any rate, please be nice in the comments. Everyone is valid, and if you feel the need to be acephobic in the comments then, I'm sorry for you, and I hope you find something to make you happy in the future, that way you won't feel the need to mindlessly hate on others.

First two questions I get when I tell people I'm a virgin... "How old are you???" 26. And "so what are you waiting for?!" Same as the girl in this video who is a virgin. Honest answer, I'm waiting so I don't end up like the other girls in this video who say they have regrets about some of the people they've slept with. Also, I've never been one to seek validation from men and it seems like several of the girls with middle of the road numbers admitted that was part of their experience. I'm not saying everyone should wait, but please don't judge me when I say I'm waiting. P.S. People ask that question and never stop to think about the terrible reasons someone might be a virgin such as being abused as a child, being made to suppress your sexuality if you're not straight, having a medical condition that makes sex painful, or having severe body image issues that make you uncomfortable being with someone in such an intimate way. There's many more reasons people are virgins other than "I'm waiting for marriage" or "I'm aesexual". It's embarrassing to be asked that question, so I wish people would stop

You saying "sex isn't everything/we don't' find it that important". I'm sorry but that's just your coping mechanism, you even said it yourself, you BOTH have sexual traumas. Normal, healthy people have sex as an integral part of any physical and emotional relationship with a partner. Ask any relationship expert, social scientist, or marriage counselor. Sex, when not done in a frugal and impulsive one night stand way, is the closest--literally--you can get to your partner. You are exchanging the most intimate thing you have, and you *FEEL* it. It's the best thing to experience with someone who loves you as you love them. We are not some asexual beings, we are part of this natural world, and we have our sexual desires as WELL as our intellect and reason. Emotional connection, caring, support, and SEX are all integral to a complete and healthy relationship. Plus, it's fun and exciting and even good for your health and pair-bonding. I hope you deal with your sexual traumas and so does your guy. Because you're missing out on one of the best natural blessings we humans have when we meet someone who wants to share it with.

@@KenzieKaddl You are blind we’ve been in a constant decay for decades, things will be much worse in 5 years and you are ignorant to believe otherwise. We have over 50% divorce rate now, child births are lowest they have ever been, mental illness is at record levels, nobody can afford a home, the job market has never been worse, religion is fading along with traditional and cultural values and degeneracy is being normalized. New age free love liberalism and tolerance is to blame, it welcomes dysfunction with open arms, in the name of love they shout, but it’s all fake love, it’s all just virtue signalling for social brownie points in a need to conform to what is trendy, to what the elite social engineers in control want. None of the SJW/liberal crowd authentically care/love to do the things necessary to ensure that things will get better and is why everything will only get worse. Making things better requires an acknowledgement of reality which nobody wants to do because reality has too much uncomfortable truths. A Promiscuous past for example being 100% correlated to an inability to pair bond and a very high likelihood of divorce. If you actually care about people you wouldn’t tell them that being promiscuous is okay that everybody can just do what they want and shouldn’t be judged. You are encouraging dysfunction which leads to greater suffering under the false mask of love, only to get social media brownie points like the egotistical narcissist you are
This video prompted my drunk mother to tell me about the time she had sex in kid rocks recording studio. *I know too much*

I think the "what are you waiting for" was meant to be more like "are you waiting for something?"
