As a nothosaurus I see this as a win

Idk if anybody ever told bestinslot this but you have no idea how much we love you’re determination to post all these videos back-to-back whenever something like a dlc or new Jurassic franchise information comes out, that and the creativity and story telling in park builds, also im not sure if this is a good idea or not but a planet-zoo style sandbox park would be a supper cool sandbox series imo

The movement of the Nothosaurus really remind me of species like the Merten’s water monitors

This is definitely already my favorite creature of this dlc, it’s like a giant reptilian otter

I think Nothosaurus should be a prime candidate for the only marine species that can actually escape the lagoon when uncomfortable. It should be able to swim quick enough to scamper up the side, and out of the lagoon. Where from there it could attack guests and seem a lot more like it’s camp Cretaceous counterpart.

One step closer to Prehistoric Crocodiles. I hope we get things like that if there is a evolution 3

We don't need a third game. They just need to keep working on this one overtime. If they did a third it would be another copy and paste like they did with this one.. it's was just the first game re-released with all its dlcs but with a few added things at launch, then more PDLCs over time... what's the point paying for all dlcs with this game and then just getting them all for free at launch with a third game ?

I find it very curious that that they made Nothosaurus need the rock plataforms less than the Archelon. If we look at irl modern marine turtles they spend the entirety of their lives on the water and only the females come to dry land solely to lay their eggs. Meanwhile Nothosaurus would have been more akin to marine iguanas and seals, being more dependent on land to rest and bask.

They should add Metriorhynchus which is quite literally a marine crocodile with a shark-like tail

would love to see something like a hesperornis introduced, now that they have the rocks it could be a great penguin alternative that varies it up a lot

@@bornstellarmakeseternalsal3439 Unless you are joking, if birds aren’t dinosaurs, then why do today’s paleontologists specify whether or not they are talking about “non-avian” dinosaurs, etc.? And if you meant to say that none of those of those dinosaurs are Mesozoic (aside from the Cretaceous’ Hesperornis), both the JW franchise in general and JWE2 already brought in Paleozoic and Cenozoic creatures.

That hatchery exit music for the Nothosaurus for some reason sounds very walking with dinosaurs and walking with beasts.

Why do I like the Animation where they go back in the water

Like the sloth man said, I do believe that this opens the door up to other semi aquatic reptiles like crocodiles and stuff

I wished they could go on land a terrorise the guests does anyone think they will upgrade it in the future someday.

Just hope to goodness we get a decoration that’s like a floating log with some crinoids hanging off just something rly pretty and nice that would break the water’s “skyline”, and that maybe a nothosaurus could rest on

The breakout animation is making my back hurt just watching them, save them from themselves!

I did think that if they did add Nothosaurus to the game, when it tried to break out, it would damage the fence on the lagoon, and become a terrestrial creature? Like interacting with the dinosaurs and so on. But I can understand why that would be difficult to animate and so on

i was thinking since nothosaurus is a JW CC creature that is not in another CC pack i wonder if the same applies to Smilodon maybe a Cenozoic pack? in the future.

Nothosaurus is not my favorite design from this pack, either... But it is cool having something with that general body plan in the game. Definitely sort of like a water monitor in some ways, like an otter in others.

Now the only creatures left from the film canon to add to the game is Tarbosaurus, Microceratus and Spinoceratops. The Saber-Toothed Tiger will not be added to the game due to Frontier confirming that there will be no prehistoric mammals in the game. I do wonder what packs Tarbosaurus and Microceratus will come in, but I bet Spinoceratops will come in a Hybrid Dinosaur pack. And maybe the pack will have Stegoceratops, Ankylodocus and Spinoraptor. I might even build a Hybrid Dinosaur park. Anyway, I'm excited to add Nothosaurus to my park of Dinosaurs that appeared on the film canon.

@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim but the camp cretaceous version, which this is based on, ISNT an ocean-based creature, its semi-aquatic and did swim a good bit yes, but it didnt take long for it to just switch to land to chase the characters down...makes no sense to force it to be a lagoon creature, they probably just dont want to go through the trouble of making things capable of swimming in normal water

@@arkknight8405 That's why they implemented the Rock Platform. And it really isn't too deep. Like, the Lagoons as they stand would be classified as "Shallow water" for an environment.

How beautiful. The two are doing a reference to Seiren. They swirl around just like Kamita and Tsuneki step around the waters at the beach. And on land, they're doing a reference to Mermaid Melody in which it tries to sniff its tail but the it scares it kinda like how Lucia tries to check Kaito's wound, but he frightens her and tells him to calm. Seen the differences, folks?
