Imagine if there was a feature where the marine reptiles would hit the lagoon walls if they were stressed (just like the feature we have now), but if it was a large marine reptile who have hit the walls, like mosasaurus or tylosaurus, a crack would open in the lagoon walls, and if you don’t fix it, slowly the lagoon water would seep through the crack and the lagoon would dry up. I know this idea may sound cruel, but it would be a very interesting way to force us park managers to attend the marine creatures needs, and dedicate ourselves more to the lagoon and the animals that inhabit it. 15:22 I think a cool behavior feature could of been that Archelon and Nothosaurus would hurry to climb the platform if there was a dangerous animal, like a mosa, nearby

The Shonisaurus is incredible... it really felt like they skimped out on a big part of marine history without a giant Ichthyosaur. The grey, bluish grey and black skins that were shown in succession are my favorites. They call to mind modern species and something about that just makes the animal feel so much more like we're looking at it through an aquarium or documentary.

Don't forget that Shonisaurus was not a suction feeder, but an active predator with teeth! Really wish Frontier gave it teeth.

In my opinion, the other more accurate marine creatures are Kronosaurus, Attenborosaurus, Ichthyosaurus, Styxosaurus (if you ignore the fin neck), and Tylosaurus (if you ignore the mouth).

Sucks that they gave shonisaurys the hadrosaurs treatment, only is it unable to attack anything but also heavily undersized, in real life they could rival the blue whale in size for damn sake

@@dom9300 And JW Mosasaurus also outsizes a blue whale as well. It also depends on what species they used, popularis or Shastasaurus sikannensis (which has been debated if sikannensis is Shonisaurus or Shastasaurus), popularis is smaller than sikannensis.

Dunkleosteus size is outdated. According to a 2023 study, he was about 3.41 meters (11,4 ft) long but this is Jurassic world, so yeah, accuracy is not important in this series.

It's not hard to see why the dunk was one of the most anticipated in the pack as it's the very first non reptile prehistoric species in the game

Actually, Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus are the first non-reptilian species in the game, since Dimetrodon is a synapsid and Lystrosaurus is a therapsid.

​@@inkasaurusrex they are NOT reptile like! Synapsids and Reptilians are 2 very different types of amniotes. If anything, theyre amniote-like.

This pack is definitely great to cool off in JWE2. Out of all of the creatures in this pack, I like the Archelon here. It's really cool to see this giant extinct turtle in the game.

out of the JURASSIC park?

Definitely gives me more reason to use lagoons. I tend to avoid them because I feel like they don’t have enough variety. With the new species and viewing dome it gives them more use. Of course we also have the decorations as well as special islands for animals I feel like I can use them in more unique ways now.

I’m so excited for the creatures in this DLC!

I only began playing this game recently, but I have to say, If Evo wasn't here, I would have no clue where to even begin. Keep up the exceptional work, Evo!

Always love your showcases. Out of all early access creators, you’re my go to watch first. To the point, humour, and is just fun to watch. My fav aquatic by the way is Nothosaurus.

Something I think might be really cool is putting down as many rock platforms as possible to create and kinda “cave” like environment with a bunch of lights and coral and maybe some nothosaurus’s and styxosaurus with there bioluminescence skins

Shame how shonisaurus hit the sauropod treatment basically a defendless meatbag, but also made ut way smaller than the real life animal.

The Nothosaurus reminds me of a sealion. Loving the marine social interactions!

I like how the dunkleosteus design is based on both the outdated versions with its body, looking like a shark while his head looks like it’s outdated counterpart were the armor plates were thought to be outside until the shark version came out where the armor was covered by skin

with the nothosaurus in the screen and there social interactions in the background can be a good introduction for your marine videos

All the creatures in this pack are really amazing and adorable and I can't wait to use them in a future park ideas. I really appreciate you trying to always be the first to show news about the game. Evo, I have a question for you. Because I have a project for a park using only creatures from Europe and I know that Nothosaurus and Dunkleosteus remains were found in Europe. So my question is whether in the game these two species have dig sites in Europe because if not they will not be present at least in this project.

Nothosaurus escape animation (if it has one) could have it maybe leaping out of the lagoon since it’s semi aquatic

I just thought of something cool you could try out when the pack releases! See if you can use the glitch that people use to get dinosaurs into aviaries with lagoon creatures to get nothosaurus or archelon to walk in regular exhibits! (I know this works functionally but the only issue it might have is they may spawn under the floor)

I love how when the dunk jumps out of the water to eat the shark, it eats like a real fish would.

I think something that would be really cool and make the animations for when marine reptiles are uncomfortable more interesting is if the nothosaurus since it has legs could have an escape animation where it crawls out of the lagoon or breaks the lagoon fence on the jurrasic world lagoon I hope you see this cause I think you would also think this is cool

When the nothosaurus gets upset the animation where it tries to slam into the wall should be it trying to get out of the lagoon by swimming down and trying to lunge or throw itself over the wall and they should be able to escape sometimes I think that would be cool

All these species are amazing, especially dunky. Speaking of which, he can actually fight and even win against Mosasaurus.

The dunk biting the other dunks tail reminds me of the animation where the baryonyx bite each others tails.

I'm excited. Unfortunately for the Shuni, I'm probably rarely if ever use it. It's beautiful and has amazing colors, but I love the Archelon and Dunk. Probably would probably really only add Shuni if I did a full prehistoric Aquatic Park.

This pack is amazing. I've been wanting a pack like this for a year.

I have had moments for a pterosaurs with fly within the lagoon and even the natural lagoon with the Malta DLC.

The nothosaurus shriek when the dunk catch’s it is funny and sad at the same time 😂

I hope they get an aviary dlc, including hatzetgopteryx, microraptor, archaeopteryx and rhamphoryncus (probably misspelled that) the cutest of course being rhampho. For the updates aviary related, I hope they make flying socials while they are in the air, and dinosaurs can break into the aviary, and have a hunting animation for them in the air and land

You know, with how the secondary skin wraps around the eyes of the Archelon a TMNT exhibit might not be to much of a stretch

I know we were all confused after Frontier released the free decoration update for JP and went silent for a while, but after seeing the improvements for the lagoon, I'm glad they did. Edit: Let's make EVOHEIMER a thing!

I take it back, the galaxy Shoni and the cute Notho are enough to change my mind. I want this DLC.

When the trailer released, I thought it was teasing that we could build islands on the lagoon, and perhaps we could actually have dinos on the islands in the lagoon. That was way too unrealistic and hopeful, but the rock islands had some more potential imo. Amazing DLC pack and social animations, though, I love every creature we got (especially nothosaurus, easily my favorite).

Still hopeful that the Megaladon will be in one of the future Marine DLC packs. It is still a possibility.

Ah so the rock is supported by a metal pole. was hoping it'd be a rock pillar. but hey-ho this means there's a vertical object in the lagoon the animals can swim around, hopefully meaning that the ai can contend with vertical meshes meaning that if they wanted to, perhaps we could get some more vertical decorations. hoping for kelp forests and stone spires to help break up the blue void.

I know the thanosuars is gonna be in every park that Evo builds BECAUSE OF THE SKINS OOOO A CHEFS KISS

one thing i would love to see for the lagoon if we could elevate the terrain so we can make like a beach area in the lagoon

I hope that in JWE 3, if we ever get it, will have dynamic water physics. I'd love to be able to make flowing rivers and waterfalls. Maybe even with an added risk of flooding in a storm.
