You know, I may have looked over the fact that it was on stock cylinde heads and the factory LS1 intake manifold. It does make good power all told lol

"...it's actually his blue Camaro right here." cuts to a cloud of smoke that maybe has a Camaro in it

Hahaha so true! I have much better footage of that particular car in my most recent dyno video. That thing is a monster

There are so many variables to dyno numbers and in the end it's just a number. If you car cab mph at the track is where you know what really makes good power.

Yep, that's a good point you made. I will have it at the track this spring when things open up for the racing season.

Gotta say I picked it right. Had to slip off a plug wire to keep the hp down! He will figure that out soon!

Hey im in south eastern nc. We got alpt of ws6's laying around. This inspired me a lil more than normal. Got me searching for one now that is fixable

If you can get into a WS6/SS for a good deal, they are a ton of fun for the money. Hope you find a good one!

Do a SLP cold air flow pak intake. It will help

Not nearly as much as a good set of ported Ls6 heads...

Its like the exact mirror of my car haha except mine is white lol i made 398 on a btr 3 stock heads

Yes. I've had many thoughts about it lol. It'll get an LS6 or a FAST intake.

Great car great videos ..very informative I have a 96 trans am WS6 myself ...I will follow your advice and procedures on how to upgrade my" Fire Chicken"! I do have one question though. Do you have bottoming out issues with your fire chicken? how can I minimize this issue

Thank you for the kind words and pressure to get things right in new videos haha. I dont have ant real issue bottoming my car out. The passengers side rear tire will rub the quarter panel lip with a bigger passenger in the car on big bumps. Riding four deep isn't an option with my springs and shocks.

@@Greenlightfilming oh hell no! The back seating area in my car is just for decoration only..my girlfriend's cant weigh no more than a 115 lbs. if they want to ride in the car.. my next question is ..do you have headers if so what brand?

1st your dad sounds like a cool dad and knows his cars.. 2nd I thought the torque on your car wud be higher on the dyno run. 3rd willing to bet anything that you get more complements and admiration when you take the Bird out I know I do.... and Ive had a few vettes 1974 L48 4 speed, 1986 C4 L98, and my buddies 1972 4 speed with side pipes who wud take it to me a few times a week because he liked how i drove it...Tho I miss the C3's and wud put a LS engine in one if i had the money. BUT I cant go anywhere without someone saying "You dont see those around anymore, what yr is it" OR "I had a poster of your car in my bedroom back in high school" haha Now I know you have a cam but at this point what else besides the slp lid? Did u do throttle body, coolant bypass, no screen performance MAF, Headers, Y pipe, Cat Back,42 lb injectors, performance fuel pump, pulley's, ect? I want to keep mine reasonable as I have a rare combo 2002 WS6 NBM Convertible that is one in under a hundred so Im keeping everything to go back stock and besides cam only do bolt ons plus Im poor now haha

He's a great Dad, and sometimes he's dead on with guessing lol! The car makes good HP but not so much torque. It's a smaller displacement V8 with a large cam. Sounds like you have a sweet collection of cars! You must get stopped a lot too. That's part of the fun isn't it.
