I love how Cameo have both black and white girls in their videos. They were ahead of the game and made them look so cool.

Cameo is really the perfect mix of deathly serious funk and hilarious campy fun, can never be duplicated.

One of my favorite bands growing up as a teenager in the 80s especially when the word up! Album came out 👍

I love Tomi's and Nathan's jamming behind Larry... Yaw know they had to put that Cameo strut in there... 🙂🙂🙂🙂

One of my favorite groups . Cameo has been banging out hits since the seventies, songs like "I just want to be", "Why have I lost you?' Hangin down town, "Shake your pants" and others. This band was funkier than an under arm but also had the ability to produce ballads that were timeless. True Cameo fans know this. "Word Up" was when white America jump on board. You have to have a little age on you to know about early Cameo...ENOUGH SAID..

Cameo is just FUNKY! They’re outfits, FUNKY! They’re dance steps, FUNKY! They’re horns, FUNKY! They’re lyrics, FUNKY! They just FUNKY!! I’m down with the P-Funk, but I’m definitely down with the C-Funk!!

I have always loved this song great memories of 1988 my freshman year of college watching this on Video Soul, the groove on this song was just sick, and that bass long on the extended rhythm section at the end of the song.. Wicked to this day..
