Calling the Ice Cream Trucker | MBMBaM Video Clips
Комедия
You know there was a day that this woman said to the ice cream trucker, “Hey. What’s your phone number?” Honestly, we don’t think we’d be able to handle that level of responsibility.

@@K10_mH start saying it out loud to yourself; it sounds silly as hell but telling myself "i don't need to think this" helps me break spiraling thoughts and anxiety ruts.
Just like the Chilean miners, “pack your bags and move away” makes its triumphant return.

Someone who got that tattoo like 12 years ago, heard him say that, and was "Oh, thank god! Oh, finally!!"
Years ago, I was working at a desk job for a large corporation in an office building. A woman arranged to have an ice cream truck come and park outside our building once a week during the summer. There were no children around. The ice cream man had a good spot to be to sell to kids at 3 o’clock, so he would come to our office at 1 o’clock. 1 o’clock is right after lunch and not the best time to get ice cream. I think someone told this woman that she wasn’t supposed to email the whole building weekly to remind us the ice cream truck was here. So she didn’t. What she did instead was worse. Every single week, after the ice cream truck left, she’d send an email. These emails got angrier and more desperate over the course of the summer. Why weren’t people going down and buying ice cream? She thought people wanted ice cream. The nice ice cream man was going out of his way to come here - why weren’t we buying ice cream?! It was nearly as tragic as it was hilarious. Emails reminding us he was about to arrive might have been useful. But instead we got emails shaming us that we’d disappointed the ice cream man again this week.

Clearly she knows the ice cream trucker personally, and is helping a friend or family member's food truck business.
Travis' horrified-angry head shake truly shook me to my core. Goofy man exited for a brief moment

Years back I worked with someone whose partner drove an ice cream truck. Don't have kids of my own and know literally no-one with kids, but I could totally have gotten the hook up to bring ice creams to a party full of drunk twenty-somethings. Sliding doors!
This bit had me in stiches when the episode first aired, especially as the brothers described my nightmare scenario vis a vis speed dial ice cream trucks. Iirc, right after this clip they talked about fleeing whenever you hear ice cream truck music. 😂
Love these video bits! Thank you to whoever edits these, the switching to different POVs for different reaction shots is much appreciated

Watching the video clips lately has me amazed at how seamless the editing is. I’m blown away by how often the video cuts while they’re talking and you’d never know listening to the audio - sincerely, a guy who knows nothing about audio or video editing
As a parent, I must say, you *never* pull this move where the kids can hear, or you will never hear the end of it. As a former ice cream trucker, I must say that I would have been glad of a call like this, so long as they understood that a) if I were too far away, it ain't happening, b) no matter if the apocalypse began they were to *remain and buy ice cream* if I said I was OMW and c) I show up three times and it's not worth my time I'm blocking their number. LOL. Those trucks have no AC and patience is thin. But if it were consistently great, I'd sneak 'em a freebie or two.
the real solution to that last situation is to buy all the ice cream and possibly the truck too. that's how new ice cream truckers are born.
Justin looks more and more like Clint every day.
(if you haven't already), I think you should make merch that says "Clint McElroy's favourite son" (badges, t shirts etc)
I need this number to lure the ice cream truck away so they will stop playing loudly right outside my house while I’m trying to put my toddler to sleep. Thank God he doesn’t know that ice cream trucks sell ice cream, we will never rest again when he puts that together.
I think the solution to Travis and Justin's nightmare decision making scenario is to just text the ice cream trucker and say "hey there's like 12 kids here" Now it's on the driver to decide if that's worth it or not
I remember the snowcone trailer would just park in this one giant stripmall one block downwind of both the elementary and middle school. It was there, and there it stayed for the whole summer. Then one day, the weather wouldn't be hot enough, and the truck would pack its bags and leave. As a kid it was my understanding that snowcone dispensaries were stationary while ice cream trucks were butterflies you had to catch if you saw one. You drove to the snowcone place. You ran to the ice cream truck. NOTHING would ever come to you. As Justin said, "that's not how ice cream Trucks."

I drive a school bus and one year there was an ice cream truck pulled up pretty much every day when school let out. It was like 20' away from me, but because I had to be on the bus when kids came out I could never have the ice creams and was very sad.

Justin does have the Oldest Sibling "well you will of course do as I say" subtle dominant vibe. I'm a grown-ass adult and if he told me to do something I'd probably be doing it before I even realized what happened. Also every parent has to do parent the way works with their own kids, just sayin.

I mean, some people can definitely pull off dyeing their hair well into middle age or even retirement age. I saw a woman in Seattle a few years back who must have been at least 50-55… she had half of her hair dyed light pink (the rest was blonde), and honestly, it was a good look for her. That said, I do agree that something feels wrong with Travis’ purple 😅 Not sure if it’s the color/shade, or just the fact that the whole top of his head has a sort of Smurf-esque look to it.
