Excellent initiative by Rajavel. Looking forward to the second/balance part. Surprised why Maghizhan was not part of this discussion. These youngsters need to be more open minded. Rangaraj Swamiji should actively participate in these discussions and also participate in some debates with mainstream channels who talk nonsense about sanadana dharma.

I'm completely satisfied with this topic, I can understood the concept of aathma, paramatma and Karma, maybe the old age will be given lot more understanding. Now I'm 32, I see lot more difference in me, my ideology, political and many things but as 25 I'm not like that, difference was, now I was so patience and listen more, it gives more learning and unlearning things, now I understood more deeper meanings and different perspective of everything. Best thing, now I'm very open minded, so that's called maturity or Civilized human.

Other religion has restriction of questioning. Mr.Rangarajan is correct. You can question action of Rama, or Krishna or Muruga or Ganapathy. Because we have the freedom. we will debate in public, we have pattimandram in TV ( seethayaa, kannagiya, for example). this is the greatness of my religion. I can question my god, my Azhwars. But i cant do it in any other religion in this world. Im proud to be vaishnava Hindu.

Sankhya Vedic metaphysics (around which the whole HINDU tradition was built including its temple tradition, yoga and tantra) can be validated by logic, double slit quantum experiment and embodied experience (focus and meditation) 1. So, what is Sankhya vedic metaphysics? It says that without the conscious, self-luminous, immortal, immutable, immanent (athma or the conscious self), transcendent and omnipresent Brahman (cosmic self), nothing can exist, or nothing can be perceived in its current form, or no duality cycles of energy can happen eg Birth/decay (including reincarnation of humans), Moksha (microcosm/ macrocosm duality cycle) wave/particle, energy/matter, manifestation/concealment of the universe (NOT CREATION OR DESTRUCTION since energy can be neither created nor destroyed). freezing/melting, man/woman, wake/sleep, summer/winter, day/night etc Sankhya Vedic metaphysics can be validated by logic, double slit quantum experiment and embodied experience (direct knowledge through focus + meditation). In other words, there is nothing other than the conscious divine + energy or (cosmic allegories Shiva + Shakthi or Vishnu + Lakshmi or Brahma + Saraswathi). It also means "Tat Tvam Asi'' meaning - You (conscious and immanent self) are (already) that (conscious, transcendent and omnipresent cosmic divine self) regardless of whether you realize it or not because without the conscious, immanent and omnipresent self-nothing can exist or nothing can be perceived in its current form or no duality cycles of nature can happen. Identification with thoughts and body is just an illusion due to avidya (lack of knowledge), experience of individual 5 senses by the conscious and immanent self or athma even though it is NOT the doer and ahamkara (sense of I). Conscious and omnipresent athma is like a silk thread which goes through different pearls (animate and inanimate) if you think in terms of an analogy. 2. It also means, monotheism followed by Abrahamic religions cannot be validated. It simply says that there is just a transcendent god who is totally disconnected from the universe but still can create the universe and its "laws of nature" out of thin air and override them (whenever wanted) and control everything by just using a magic wand😊. Monotheism cannot be validated. In other words, none of the Abrahamic religions were built around any well validated metaphysics...It led to needless prophets/middlemen/son of god/messiah, angels, blind belief in a book. nonexistent heaven/hell, fantasy stories (propagated as history), proselytization, and half-baked responsibilities towards nature and discrimination/violence against (non-believers) due to lack of understanding of law of Karma or cause and effect, reincarnation (birth/death duality cycle of humans) and Moksha (microcosm to macrocosm) 3.Hindu/Vedas say the consciousness is an attribute of the immanent self (just like heat is an attribute of fire and the sun) which is also all pervading (omnipresent) just like a thread which passes through different pearls (animate and inanimate). It is because of the immanent and omnipresent self there is consciousness in the psycho-physical body. But in Abrahamic religions there is no connection between consciousness and the soul. ERWIN SCHRODINGER (ONE OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF QUANTUM MECHANICS) Schrodinger's biographer Moore wrote -- “His system - or that of the Hindu Upanishads/Vedas - is delightful and consistent: the self and the world are one and they are all. He rejected traditional western religious beliefs (Jewish, Christian, and Islamic) not on the basis of any reasoned argument, nor even with an expression of emotional antipathy, for he loved to use religious expressions and metaphors, but simply by saying that they are naïve--and will NOT understand Quantum theory and consciousness. Brilliant arguments put forth by Rangarajan. Today modern science still does not have a clear definition of what life is, when life happens or even what death is. Most people quoting science still don’t get this simple point.

Not Newton's reductionistic science gang which says matter is dead. But Quantum physicists (at least the ethical and honest ones) do.

Compare creation theories of all religion with Hinduism creation theory in Rig Veda Nasadiya Sukta (10:129) really eye opening as to how scientifically it was approached 5,000 years ago, when compared to religions like Christianity that came much much later.

Sir Thanks for reading vedam Veda is knowledge Rig Veda is knowledge of origin , creation, life, time and space . Scientific findings are shared in a spritual way. As a doctor you know scientific evidence are changed and added each and every periods based on different research findings. Like wise Vedas are based on scientific knowledge which was spoken over 1000 of years and each time it was upgraded in various puranss. As you told not only bigbang hiranyagarba , they also real meaning of time and how it acts on big bang. With more or less accurate to modern findings. Even they reached mutiverse . Each and every universe has its own shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. It means Indirect they telling that some power is responsible for creation that is bhrama , Somer power to protect that is Vishnu , power to destroy that is shiva. Want to add one more each and every universe and planets created to support life that is ultimate goal. Still many need to explore in Veda , puranss and sangam literature These are real i have evidence

உங்கள் ஆர்வத்தை பாராட்டுகிறேன். ஆனால்.கூகுளை மறந்து நல்ல scholar களை அணுகினால் இந்த மந்திரத்தின் உட்பொருளை இன்னமும் நன்றாக தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். சாதாரணமாக ஒரு விஷயத்தில் வெளிப்படை யான பொருள், மறைந்து இருக்கும் பொருள் என்று இரண்டு உண்டு. அதை ஸ்தூல விளக்கம் சூக்ஷ்ம விளக்கம் என்று சொல்வார்கள். அதனால் தான் வேதங்களுக்கு மறை என்று பெயர். புரிதல் இன்மை என்ற திரையை விலக்கினால் உண்மை பொருள் விளங்கும் ஆகையால் தான் அமர கோசம் போன்ற புத்தகங்களை படித்து உணரவேண்டும். ஒரு வார்த்தைக்கு எவ்வளவு பொருள், அதேபோல் ஒரு பொருளுக்கு எவ்வளவு வார்த்தைகள் அவற்றை எங்கு எப்படி உபயோகம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று தெரியும்.

The whole hindu tradition was built around Sankhya including its temple tradition, yoga and tantra). Sankhya can be validated by logic, double slit quantum experiment and embodied experience. 9000 yr old Sankhya by Maharishi Kapila was mentioned by Sri Krishna in the 6000 yr old Bhagavad Gita.

Such a good conversation. Please keep this going and make it into a separate series. The scientific community doesn't have the answers to questions like what is life or what is consciousness? It's refreshing to know what our own spirituality thinks about these topics.

Consciousness is subjective, science is objective so its very hard to understanding consciousness because its very subjective.

Atma is something beyond I identity. It exists in waking, dream and deep sleep when the I identity changes. This is explained in Upanishads and Adi Sankara's Viveka Choodamani

Amazing discussion! Thanks to mr. Rajavel nagarajan and mr. Rengarajan. We are like this because of only education to make money only,money can solve all our problems. But in reality to run behind money all day,think of consumerism only, and people forgot to discuss at Home these values discussion and forget the basic purpose of life. It is very very important to run one's current life peace Fully.

This is the first time i watched this channel. Highly appreciate the team and sri.rangarajan for having an open discussion on basic concepts of sanatana. Common people today need to listen to such q&a sessions n know that what we think as "illogical or imaginary" have already been discussed by our ancients in the past. But Sankhya Vedic metaphysics (around which the whole Hindu tradition was built including its temple, yoga and tantra tradition) gives a much clearer picture. 9000 yr old Sankhya by Maharishi Kapila was mentioned by Sri Krishna in the 6000 yr old Bhagavad Gita.
