In my opinion the Holy Trinity of the 2020's is the AM Valkyrie, AMG One and the Gordon Murray T50/T50 S. They all adhere to the same ethos: the ultimate driver's car that's barely road legal with a race car powertrain and next level aerodynamics and materials.

100% also I'm not sure what they're talking about as all of them are street legal. Or at least in Europe where they're made, they are. The fact that Adrian Newey and Gordon Murray designed 2 of them and the AMG literally has an F1 engine... absolute monsters.

yea I agree, although perhaps in the next year or two (since we are still early in the decade), we will see another hypercar pop up that fits into the new holy trinity better than the current 3 you mentioned

I think it’s the Koenigsegg CC850, Pagani Utopia and the Gordon Murray Automotive T.33. All three are driver focused two seaters, all three have a manual transmission (while also available with an auto transmission) and all three are retro inspired by their own history previous models. Not only that but like the hybrid trinity there’s also some animosity between the brands over these models. Pagani were taking digs at Koenigsegg in their press release for the Utopia. While GMA were making digs at the other two brands during the press reveal for the T.33. And as for timing, all three were revealed this year, and all three are scheduled to begin deliveries in 2024.

Thing is, H-pattern gearboxes can't have pneumatic controls, because they're physically attached to the gear shifter, so paddle shifters either have sequential (the command shaft can be spun by a computer) or automatic transmissions attached to them. Both shifters in the Koenigsegg are electronic, one is faster and more straightforward, the other looks good and makes you feel good.

I think the thing that made the La, P1, 918 dynamic so special was you got the sense that those car companies had their HISTORICAL reputations at stake. It seemed as though it was all three of those manufacturers saying "This is the best that we can do". Everyone was waiting for that drag race and each company sending teams to be there to MAKE SURE their car was represented well (a Ferrari being a reluctant little BEEYOTCH) and the conditions were JUST RIGHT for their car to shine. With THOSE equal kind of stakes/conditions/parameters being considered, I think the next similar group is the AMG One, the Valkyrie, and the Mclaren Solus GT. The Egg and the Pagani for sure don't have the same kind of history. TBH neither does Bugatti in terms of their BODY OF WORK or number of cars the aforementioned manufacturers do. They have been making cars for many YEARS, but not nearly as many CARS as MB/AM/Mclaren.

The reason the Trifecta became something back then was because those cars came out at the same time, with same drivetrains and same numbers across the board.. nowadays it’s hard to predict something like that.. Great video! You got me thinking now too haha!

Manual, mid-engine cars are what I find interesting. The T.50, that one Koenigsegg that can be auto and "real" manual, and the Utopia are the three that come to mind.

For me it is the Chiron SS, Jesko, and McLaren Speedtail as one holy trinity, and the McLaren Solus GT, AM Valkyrie, and AMG One as the F1/track focused holy trinity.

What you guys think of the GMA T50. I think ( Valkyrie / AMG One / GMA T50 ) All Three bringing motorsports inspired design/functionality, all three with different approaches, All three comes with a one off ENGINE. Something that will never be repeated again, Maybe perhaps??? 🤓

I really enjoy this form of content where it's just you guys hanging out discussing current and future cars, which you like, dislike and reasons why. Not too many visuals(for better or worse) so really nice second monitor content to have on and listen along to. Would love to see more.

I really appreciate Steve as a person, and also a collector. He uses his cars as intended, and actually enjoys them. Keep it up Steve.

I’m not sure what the other two eould be but the Valkyrie certainly belongs. Has the racing heritage, as it began development as a joint project between aston and red bull back when they were a formula 1 team, has been hyped for what feels like the better half of a decade, and might be the last n/a v12 hypercar and is just insane in general.

The thing about the Valkyrie is that the normal and spider versions will be road legal but the AMR Pro won't, so with the performance level of that car I think it definitely has a chance to end up as part of the Holy Trinity

Gordon Murrys T50 is likely going to be the greatest car of all time. Another consideration for the next trinity might be the race to 300mph. So Jesko, Tuatara, Venom F5 ,Chiron SS as contenders.

I think I agree with tommy because the utopia we don’t have numbers on( I think) it also doesn’t have the same price and WOW factor as the Jesko and The Chiron SS as well as the time it lands on the ground it will be roughly 2 years later at the earliest I think but the Valkyrie checks out every box performance Wow factor as well as the time it hits the ground is relatively the same as the other 2 also the street legal part isn’t the p1 in race mode illegal? So I think u can fight against that remark but you could also fight against the Chiron SS being in there because it’s a version of the Chiron which came out in 2016 and no other holy trinity car is a version of a car that was built before they’re all flagships. I could be argued against that 2 but it’s open for debate is what I’m getting at. On the contrary the Jesko absolutely deserves that spot you could even go as far as say that car is the KING of this era(decade) its mind boggling the performance the looks and u can drive it literally anywhere it follows all rules. You said exactly what I thought, especially with the Chiron issue

It's hard to choose a trinity post 2020. There's a lot of hypercars now. I do feel like the AMG One and the Valkyrie have to be in that conversation because they are so extreme. They also both fit the history, heritage, engineering for holy status. Maybe the Chiron in addition to those two.

For the 90's the holy trinity definitely was the F1, CLK-GTR, and 911-GT1. The second group was the XJ220, EB110, and F50.

True for USA I guess but not the rest of the world. The global holy trinity should be AM Valkyrie, AMG One & the Jesko. They all came out around the same time, currently undergoing final testing & will be delivered shortly

Honestly the Speedtail is a pretty good suggestion, however the 765LT not at all! The 765 is an amazing car but it’s not on the same level as the Chiron on the Jesko! I’d say if there was like a tier below of the holy trinity it would have tje 765LT, the 488 Pista and like either the 992 turbo S or an Aventador SVJ or Hurracan STO, something in those lines

Bruh pagani has done nothing, only a reskin, the new holy trinity is jesko, amg one and valkyrie since they are all pushing track performance to the next level and is road legal and the jesko is even more legal since it is road legal in every country until 2026. Track performance is way harder than top speed.

I’ll be interested to see how the Lotus does. They’ve always been known for producing cars that have top tier handling, now they’re adding the power. Could be an amazing vehicle.

Naw. The T50 and the SSC cars fall into the same category of type of cars as the Hennessy Venom. It’s low production one off cars from very small unknown and unproven manufacturers. None of those can be considered a Holy Trinity car. The speed tail also just didn’t do anything great to be a holy Trinity car. It was built for high top speed but has a slower top speed than a 15 year old Bugatti Veyron.

Mclaren Solus GT, Aston Martin Valkyrie and the Koenigsegg Jesko would be my pick for the new Holy Trinity. But I can't wait to see the Lamborghini aventador replacement as well as the Mclaren P1 successor.

I think the 992 GT3 RS is the real hero of our time In my opinion all these super expensive „hypercars“ of small manufactures like Koenigsegg or SSC are unreliable toys for people who like to invest in cars. What made the holy trinity of the 2010s so special was how they brought the hybrid powertrain into performance cars for the street. And they proofed them selfs on various race tracks, especially the 918 with its for this time unbelievably quick sup 7 min Nordschleife Laptime.

The black and white ultraboost switch up threw me off big time! Went back and forward figuring out if i was tripping lol clean transition into the odd shoes!!! Great video too!!!

To me, i believe it's going to be the Aston Valkyrie, the AMG One and the next Porsche hyper car. I think the cars have to be good on the track in order to earn the "holy trinity" title. We all know Bugattis and Koenigseggs are made for straights and top speed only. Plus the racing heritage, Porsche is the most successful brand in racing history, Aston Martin and Mercedes/AMG also have an amazing racing heritage in all classes of motorsport. I don't know, i just think Bugatti, Koenigsegg and Pagani don't have what it takes to be worthy of the title.

Honestly I kinda think that the Venom F5 makes sense for the spot given the premise. The commonality of the Chiron and the Jesko is the fact that both of them have over 1,500hp and they're both built for top speed. The venom F5 fits this premise. I do understand they don't have as much heritage as both other companies but they're pretty close to at least Koenigsegg in terms of how long they've been around. Plus Hennessy had some legacy like the exorcist and they've been tuning cars for a while. I would definitely reconsider the F5.

For me, if there were to be another Holy Trinity it would consist of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, Mercedes AMG One, and Mclaren Speedtail. I know that the AMG One won't be street-legal here in the States, but the regular Valkyrie, (Not the AMR Pro) is street-legal in the US. The Speedtail is confusing since you can own one under the Show and Display Law and the Triple F Collection has one in the collection. On top of that, the Valkyrie, AMG One, and Speedtail all have hybrid systems like the 918 Spyder, P1, and LaFerrari, but are taken to the next level. Furthermore, they all have about 1,000 horsepower. Also, who's to say that there can be only one Holy Trinity? Since there are different categories of supercars, there is one notable group of them that's a Holy Trinity in it of themselves and they are the Ferrari Monza SP1/SP2, McLaren Elva, and Aston Martin V12 Speedster or even the DBR22 whenever that comes out.

@@hugo-pg5tv Bruh, I'm talking about a completely different trio of cars though. The Jesko has 1600 hp. The Speedtail has at least 1000 hp so I put it with the AMG One and AM Valkyrie. Sure, the AMG One and Valkyrie are track weapons and the Speedtail is a hyper GT, but they all have hybrid systems just like the P1, 918 and LaFerrari.

@@hugo-pg5tv They all had roughly the same amount of horsepower which is the high 700s to low 900s. And no, I'm not saying hp is the bigger point. They all had something special about them, whether it be from a heritage stand point or a technological breakthrough.

I think that the 3rd successor to the trinity that you guys are speaking of will be the Utopia, but more than likely a higher downforce version like a BC

They are true masters at the game creating new tech. Whereas the Venom is a carbon tub slapped together with a 1800hp V8 that sounds like a cammed corvette.

I live close to Wheaton, and the road Steve drives in is called Butterfield Rd, or Route 56. Kind of a dangerous road because people go highway speeds, but it's not a highway.

Venom F5 cannot count. Especially because John Hennessy is a huge scumbag who destroyed a bunch of his customers cars by doing modifications they didn’t request He was basically using customer cars as test mules without their permission.

Adding the Chiron is what messed up your Trinity due to its age. A more fitting example would be the T.50 because it traces roots back to the McLaren F1, while being extremely fast yet very engaging. But I honestly think the trinity is the Jesko, Venom F5 and the Tuatara. It’s like the decade of the speed kings(especially because I don’t think the speed wars will ever be this hot again)

Gotta be a trio from the race to 300 mph for this decade. Depends on the results when we get top speed runs finally. Could be Chiron SS, Jesko, and either Tuatara or Venom F5.

To me, the new holy trinity has to be 3 of these high rpm F1 inspired, street-legal race cars so that would be the Valkyrie, AMG One, and the third… is unknown as of now. The T.50 just isn’t going to preform the same as the other two so I don’t think it’s the third. If I had to guess, it would be a high performance version of the utopia, down the road that’s more track oriented or one of the replacements from the previous holy trinity if one fits in with the other two. It’s tempting to put the Jesko but it’s very different even in the high downforce specification.

I would hope that a new category of Holy Trilogy emerges that honors the analog drivers car. GMA T-50, etc.

GMA T.50, Pagani Utopia, and Koenigsegg cc850 have my votes

The last spot belongs to the Aston Martin Valkyrie. No doubt what so ever.

You Should Consider looking into The Gordan Murray T50 Niki Lauda ! People are sleeping on it but it’s the next big thing !

In my opinion, if the old holy trinity is replaced, it has to be these 3: 1. Bugatti Chiron 2. Koenigsegg Agera 3. Pagani Huayra BC If the previous holy trinity inspired other brands to create their most powerful Supercars, these three inspired them to make their own Hypercars. Lookswise, still look timeless just like the current HTs. I'd say they are the current Holy Trinity for this decade, but their titles are on the line considering Mercedes and Aston Martins have very powerful, sophisticated "Track" cars that are also road legal. Figuring out the new HT at this time would basically just be switched to newer models in about 3-5 years with today's technology.

some honorable mentions are The Hennessy, Murray, and Rimac but apparently not everyone knows those brands since those 3 are more targetted towards the niche market.

I believe the holy trinity of today is the: Mercedes one, McLaren solus,aston martin valkyrie..the next holy trinity will be electric powered,so that's:Pininfarina Battista, Lotus Evija and rimac nievera

Your list of Chiron and Jesko can belong together but they are realistically a whole different category of car - realistically would fall more into the mega car category Koenigsegg stated due to power levels

I think the holy trinity could be Track/road legal: Bugatti chiron pur sport, koenigsegg jesko, McLaren senna Top speed: Bugatti chiron ss 300+, koenigsegg absolute, ssc tuatara ( it has broken the speed world record that should give it more credit) or hennsesy venom F5 Track only: McLaren solus, Aston Martin Valkyrie, Bugatti bolide ( if they make it ) or Lamborghini essenza

For the 80's the Holy Trinity is the F40, 959, and Countach.

Any holy trinity is largely based off performance, Paganis are considered “art pieces” (although I think the Utopia looks like shlt) and aren’t really performance vehicles so it can’t be part of a potential holy trinity. Agree with Chiron and Jesko tho
