2021 BX2380 170h here. Good series, I’m watching it backwards 4-1. My ROPS clears by shop garage door by 1/4”, swipes the rubber gasket.

Great stuff. All of my neighbors went to Kubota/JD/MF dealers and come back with at least 2x bigger tractor they intended to buy. They all have ballast in their rear tires but still will not go down steep hills and I don't blame them. In the mountains, I don't really think they are worth the expense - since they have skyrocketed $$ recently.

Thank you! The prices are ridiculous right now. I would guess dealer inventory will get overstocked and they may get discounted after that. I've seen a lot of 0% for 72 months offers and with today's interest rates plus inflation, that surprises me. A free market will correct itself... as long as it stays free 🤠👍

Great video, it certainly should help clear up some of the 'clear as mud' descriptions in owner's manuals, that 'assume' we know some of this stuff! Haha, I caught the sparkplug thing to 😁😁 Can't wait for the next video!

Thanks. Can't wait for your next video. As for rear ballast, I got the BX23S--being delivered this week. So, I'll be running the FEL with the backhoe on. Hope that is enough. If not, will add ballast to rear tires.

Best money I spent on my BX is wheel spacers. 2” on rear and 1.5” on front ! No more pucker factor 😁

The bx series of tractors will surprise you with their capabilities for the size of the machine! I only have a pin on bucket for now I'm thinking of changing to the ssqa mainly just for forks for extra lifting capacity!

@@samsdoinstuff Actually, some diesels do in fact have spark plugs. The older Farmall MD and others started on gasoline, and then after it warmed up, was switched to diesel.

Nice BX intro. Interesting how different the 2018 is to the 2022. On size, I believe all are the same size but different horsepower.

Thank you! That's a great question. It's still the "80" series but they are bound to make changes. The 1880 has smaller wheels, at least I'm pretty sure. I do love how it gets through tight spaces 🤠👍

If you’re not buying the 23s with the backhoe I recommend the 2680. I think the 26hp engine is a better choice, it’s smoother running (it’s a different engine)and I can tell a big difference between the two going into a pile of dirt

Good morning Sam! Excellent discussion on the BX. Your familiarity, knowledge and experience with the BX really came through. I sold mine after 6 years with 800 plus hours and got a great resale price when I sold it. What a great machine it was. Also there is such a massive amount of online support and so many accessories, attachments and implements dedicated for the BX. Thanks for reminding me of how much I miss my BX, lol, they are good memories.

Thank you very much! Yeah, I realized it later, but I got the general idea across. Just so new owners understand they have to use them before they start the engine. I didn't know anything about that when I was a new owner. 🤠👍

Haven't talked to my dealer about my 3 year old 1880 yet but my problem is getting my deck level bracket to drop. The height adjustment you talked about is very difficult to turn. I don't have a mower but I bought a protection plate for the underside and it was almost impossible to turn the adjustment knob. I was able to hook it up but it wasn't easy. The underneath protection is very important.
