Man I really have to give you kudos because what you described took a lot of guts to do. A lot of people wouldn’t admit that and a lot of people wouldn’t say that on video. That’s why I like your channel that was truthful and that’s what happens with a lot of people but then again, a lot of people don’t do what you just did thank you for your honesty and I love your channel and I will always like it and watch it. I think you are making a correct decision able opening more to the public in your retail business. I am sure you will be very successful in this endeavor. The KZread channel is a huge plus for this. It is a shame that I live in the United States or I would gladly buy from you 😢.

I honestly think your on the right track with your thoughts/methods on quarantining. Ive noticed plants and fish travel in kind of the same way, it stresses them out. Its the same for us when we move houses/jobs/countries, theres always an acclimation process. Wish more fish shops would adopt this approach. Love your stuff as always bro,love from perth

I’m in NJ and there’s no LFS in my area either. The ones that I know about are about an hour away. I wish I had a good LFS.

Traveling worked up an appetite for those fish.

I would love to have you speak at a aquarium meeting in the usa. Maybe Nashville TN. I aspire to have a rescue for all animals but a fish store as well.

Good fish shops around here in The Netherlands also quarantine their fish inside the shop. I think this also shows the customer the shop quarantines their new fish to try to guarantee quality and good health.

Sup man, I am a eastern cape beginner 90L aquarium keeper, I have got a few neon's, a bristlenose pleco, and three glow danios. I also have a 10gal tank that I want to keep shrimp in. I want to get your advise on what you think a good centerpiece fish would be for in my 90L community tank, as I am planning on moving my neon's and danios to my 10gal so that I can either keep harlequin's or dwarf rainbows in the 90L.

It's been too long since I've been into a fish shop that looks as good as yours. All our LFSs have just one wall of tanks and they're full of the same old stuff 😢 Of course if you want a plant though there's a choice. Java fern, or elodea?

Its a big pivot but I think it will pay off, heaps of times I've been to get my fish from your store, but I was after more 'regulation' breeds.

Will you be getting a business phone number? Because the system you have with sending messages on your website is bad as you never get a reply back.

Keeping betta's like that is ultra cruel..

Australian wholesalers quarantine fish for a minimum of 2 weeks (I say minimum because if they have loss or issues this time extends further), before being signed off by a government appointed quarantine officer with an actual protocol to follow strict guidelines to clear these fish to the market. It's great you're taking some extra time to let them settle, like most store's also do. But like alot of your videos, your bias you're casting to other stores and grandstanding is just sad mate. Grow up.
