seeing the Beautiful Buster remind me of my beautiful maine coone look alike, and what a beautiful boy he was. I am so so so so sad because I miss him. he died at the age of 12 from cancer of the jaw. I tried to keep him alive by hand feeding him, but it was not meant to be. The thing I miss most about him was he was so cuddly, and he used to dip his paws in the water and drink from his chubby little paws, He was my favorite baby out of all the cats I have ever had. I know he is in kitty heaven ruling over all the kitties, in a very good way. TYSVM for sharing your beautiful Buster, I love watching him

Poor Buster, his little feet are frozen...he is soo glad you brought his blanket. What a lovely walk. I really enjoy you taking us with you. The little stream is running fast today. Gosh, that forest looks so peaceful. I love watching it snow, but I especially enjoy quiet, peaceful, and sun-kissed snowy forests. He is so much like our old Maine that recently died, and the young one we just rescued. Maines are simply not like regular cats, completely different mentality. I wish my baby Buster would not be so afraid of snow! He doesnt mind cold or wet, but i guess both together is a no. I have tried introducing him to snow on the balcony, but he just sits on the wooden floor where i brushed the snow off =) Maybe he learn, he is only 10 months old so a baby. Buster does look majestic in the snowy forest! Like a true king!

@@Maine_Coon_Adventures Yea i mentioned my Osku, he is close to Dexters age (11 months in few days) but looks like a baby Buster. But his brother Nemo is cool and friendly like Buster, Osku is more of a wild child, like ginger cats like to be :)

His cold little feet seem to bother him. Have you considered booties? Years back we had a Boston Terrior that didn't tolerate winter well. We bought him booties and he grew to really like them. BTW--what has your winter been like? In Minnesota we seem to have skipped winter and gone right into spring.

It's really not as bad as it looks with his paws. He is just so used to warm and cosy beds indoors that the cold surprises him 😆 The winter has been very nice here, lots of snow and much colder than normal. It has been warmer now for a couple of days and the snow is melting. But winter often lasts long here and last year we had lots of snow even in the beginning of April.

Always good to see Buster being himself! Just moseying around, checking out the view, making sure everything is where it’s supposed to be. His toes need to be floofier to keep the snow from melting onto them. Looks like it’s the wet that bothers him. Around here, because there is far too much salt used on pavement, many people use balloons over their pets’ paws to protect them. Just the cheap kind used at children’s parties. Could he tolerate that, do you think? (Not all pets can. I had a three-legged dog who could sit, get all three paws off the ground and look pathetic as all get out, but put any kind of boot or sock on and she’d just run in an effort to escape. Also pathetic. She was good at pathetic, even though she loved the snow.) 🇨🇦💕

I love Uncle Buster. I feel bad for his beautiful pink toes. My cats have lots of fur in between their toes to protect them from the elements and although they are strictly indoor cats, I do not trim their toe fur. Do you trim it? Just trying to sort out the grooming requirements of the breed from the natural protections of the breed. Since my cats are indoor, should I trim? I do help them keep their toes clean from litter that gets caught in the fur. Seeking your expertise. 👍🏻

I love the fur between their toes and they are supposed to have it. So don't trim it if it doesn't cause any problems 😄

Your right..must be an indoor cat…Buster preoccupied with his paws…pulling them up…licking them…he’d much rather hang out on the towel…handsome fellow….

No, not at all. He is so used to walking with me in the forest and has never run away. But just in case he also has his GPS tracker 🙂

Is Buster still the only one of the gang you can take along? Freya is busy being a mum (but less so, as the kittens are almost ready to fly the nest 😭), but what about Luna and Dexter?

Luna doesn't like it nearly as much as Buster, so I don't take her for walks anymore. I did start walking with Dexter last year, but then the kittens came and it has been super cold here this winter, so I have only had a few opportunities to walk with Buster only. I will let Dexter come with us again in the future 🙂

If Buster has to walk all that way his little paws would be frostbitten ..I think the human should have to walk Barefoot also. He should have brought one of those baby carriers so Buster could get warm for a while. Love the cat but don't like the video
