Buster is such a good boy. He forgot all about his feet being cold when he saw the ducks again. Loved when he was chattering at them. I really like the sound they make. Buster, as always, looked beautiful out in the snow. The forest is extra beautiful when it is snow covered. Thanks for sharing.

Fascinating to see his responses- first stalking, then interest, maybe even a little intimidation. No less the duck's desire to eat overriding their fear of the predator. That played into Buster's response as well. These videos are delightful, cute, soothing- but also full of fascinating (and puzzling) feline behavior.

Feline stalking behavior fascinates me too. My favorite is the predatory butt wiggle he does at 3:06. Always makes me laugh. That one duck is pretty cocky, coming right up to Buster’s face to get the bread. Very confident! 😂

Until those paws had to be on the snow too long. He was like, “ I’ll eat at home. This snow is for the birds!!”

I'm jealous that he can be walked on a leash.He's a big sweety.My Biggie would follow me around the block but he wasn't having anything to do with a leash.

This is beautiful. The scenery, the sounds, the ducks and of course, the star of the show, Beautiful Buster. I'd always heard though it was bad for ducks to feed them bread? Even though we all did it as kids, as an adult I was told it wasn't good for their digestive system.

What a great experience for Buster x the ducks got a free feed out of it. Bet he was happy to have his towel to sit on x warm his freezing toeses!

Buster again shows how marvelous he is..from wanting to chase the ducks to being patient and very interested in them. Does show the ducks have 1 track mind of wanting to eat rather than being worried of being caught by the big gentle cat..our Buster.. im glad you brought a blanket..can see Buster's paws are very sensitive to the cold and to getting dirty in general..maybe it is time to get booties for him!!😂.. your forest is beautiful and the day itself was clear and crispy.. thank you...🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

If I lived there, I'd spend hours looking at the lake, birds, and snow! Gorgeous! Most people think summer is the prettiest season( not me). Winter, ❄️ bundled up, cooking fresh, 🍲 soups, watching the snow, rain outside, cant be beat. ( Oh, and the 🎄 lights!

Buster would be shocked by our local wild birds in the winter: we have wild turkeys and the occasional sand hill crane (up to 1.2 meters tall, with up to a 2-meter wingspan). The stories he would have for the kittens after seeing one of those!

@@Maine_Coon_Adventures The sand hill crane's breeding range includes western Maine. They do an elaborate mating dance. Uncle Buster could tell the kittens about the giant dancing birds from the land of their ancestors. But only when they are older - birds that big are scary.

I wish he had his cream furry blanket where he does all the kneading for making biscuits😂!! These wild ducks love bread. And Buster could have corraled The Whole Flock In!!. Luna and Freya would not play with Uncle Buster even after he gave Freya a complete massage. Lyna and Freya changed their minds when they heard Buster kneading and here they came!! This video is absolutely beautiful. I could actually feel Buster's heart racing with So Much Amazement and Excitement!! I am not sure but it seems like you had as much Fun as Buster!!😂. OMG!! That would be completely Awesome!! I will try to do what I can on my end!! If anyone (person place creature etc) can promote a product that would be "Buster"! It has been proven time and time again. And we the viewers love it!! I told you one time that my Maine coon (Jimmie) was just too big for his kitty bed but I bought a larger one and he refused to get in it. So I went back to small. And he was in it. You told me they do like smaller things. I know you and Buster have really promoted these "Ikea" storage boxes. It's like The Clysdale Horses for Budweiser. Or Morris The Cat for 9 lives. Love it you are terrific!! Let me see what kind of research about Ikea I can find!! You all deserve "The Best"! ❣️❣️

That is so darn cute

The ducks are really tame! Lots of kind people must feed them. Were you giving them corn? How does the river stay open? Must be some sort of human activity keeping it open. In Minnesota there are power plants on both the St. Croix and Mississippi rivers that keep the water open all winter. The spots are havens for waterfowl including Trumpeter Swans, Canada Geese and several varieties of ducks.

Just some bread pieces 🙂 If you mean that the river is not frozen, it's because the current is pretty strong here. A bit further down, in the city center, the river is wider and more still and mostly frozen.

Uncle Buster was so frustrated, he just gave up and stared on the blanket. That one duck was pretty much a show-off.

I tried it on him once indoors and then after maybe two times outside, he was very comfortable with it 🙂 But I usually let him walk freely, actually. Check out the other adventure videos to see it
