Quality episode mate. Thanks for the upload. If you're ever down somewhere between Murchison and Culverden, there's been fresh rooting on the roadside on the way to Lewis Pass heading south. Although you'll probably have a few pigs in your area. Probably worth having a poke around if you're traveling through this area. Again thanks for sharing. Atb mate.

Hi Shay is there any chance that you could do a video discussing the affordability of possum trapping full time. Talking about what you'd need to do to make a living doing it and also what you do if your full time and its raining alot, do you need a second job for the times where its constantly raining in order for it to work out? Would love to go and do it full time myself but just not sure how it would work in the winter when the weather isn't flash. Cheers

The deer that were liberated there were an eradication project (& was near success about 20 years ago). The few places in NZ that are free of that (or any other) pest don't need them for the convenience of those who won't travel a bit. NZ is lousy with most noxious animals now, probably as infested as it was in the 1960s. This vid is a good example, eaten out to running shingle areas with deer relying on windfallen leaves for any sort of quality feed.
