Great video. You speak the truth! I found burpees 7 months ago casually surfing you tube for exercise routines. Recent life changes had left me stressed, depressed, and having gained over 20 lbs in 2 years. I found Max at the BDP, then you and once I started 6 count and Navy Seal burpees I never looked back. The first two weeks were awful but those endorphins kicked in and my mind and body started remembering the euphoria after a long run or a good gym session. I've had one set back of sickness and injury where I got only 4 sessions in over 4 weeks but your and Max's motivational videos kept me going. Burpees have been a constant in my about face. Thank you for your dedication to this.

I agree with this 100%. As a father who works a night shift, time is limited. I have an outdoor chin up bar/dip station and use iron wolf's 'routine for busy people' 50 burpee routine as my baseline. That and cycling to work 5 days a week, im fitter now in my 30s than i was in my 20s. Like you say, it doesnt get easier, but you do get stronger

I smash burpees for 20-30 minutes on my dinner break 5 days a week. I mix it up so I don’t get sick of them, easy days, tough days, navy seals or kick outs one day, then one day maybe just 1 pumps. It’s changed my fitness routine.

For everyone who does excessive burpees daily, watch out because after doing them rigorously as a tactical athlete, I can assure you that sooner or later your spinal discs will start to degenerate. Hope it can at least serve one person here because even though I love burpees, there are way safer ways of getting your fitness through the roof. I went from fitness highs to cauda equina lows. Take care everyone

@@oledole1685 I'm glad to hear you're feeling great! Everyone's experience can be different based on various factors. While some of us might not experience immediate issues, it's important to keep in mind that the effects of certain exercises can manifest over time. I’ll play along with you…let’s say you are correct about burpees and their detrimental effects on the spine. What are you recommending instead since you mentioned there are a safer ways to getting incredibly fit?

@@laftw93 @laftw93 Absolutely true. We all respond differently. However, from a biomechanical perspective, it places significant emphasis on your lumbar spine. As a Certified PT at NASM, I can further elaborate on the fact that sports should be treated as medicine. Just like any medicine, an excessive dose can lead to detrimental effects, and a low dose can have negative effects as well. Balance is key in everything in life. I want to note that I engaged in this practice daily for over 5 years prior to my certification. I nearly completed every workout on IW's channel and created my own routines as well. It's crucial to exercise caution, maintain balance, and stay consistent. The exercise you choose doesn't matter as much as maintaining consistency and sticking with approaches that have proven effective over decades. Following these principles assures safety. If you decide to continue daily burpees and would want to have some confirmation on it's unique effects on your body. I recommend consulting a professional or doctor.🦾

Hey hey Scotsman..loving burpees but I'm starting to have intense pain in my wrists after around 50..even with gloves and a yoga mat...I believe my form is good but possible injury..🙏💯

The yoga mat may be contributing to your problem, depending how padded it is. Due to how the weight is distributed over your hands on a thick mat, you may be putting your wrist into a stressful position. In essence, the part of your palm that meets the wrist (inner wrist) may be lower than your fingers and bending your wrist up. Does that make sense? I found that my wrist problems disappeared after when I ditched the mat. If you can, do your push ups on your knuckles so your wrist is in a straighter position.
