Godzilla won't have this overcharged energy and King Kong will be double his height from Kong movie. It's like Batman vs superman, you would think Superman would win every time because of his stats but Batman (Kong) is very smart. Plus hopefully King Kong will have his iconic lightning powers similar to Ghidorah to even the playing field even more.

Well, this movie implies Godzilla's "nuclear pulse" attack was due to the combination of his radiation supercharge and Mothra's power. He probably no longer has it. While Ghidorah demonstrated that Godz's atomic breath can be dodged; and Kong looks to be the fastest and most agile Titan.

Godzilla is mad. He is *burning* mad. And when he was advancing on Ghidorah, I felt for sure that Ghidorah was freaking out, desperately firing his beams at his reptilian rival, only for them to have zero effect. He was clearly terrified, almost to the point of paranoia. It was like he was saying "Die! Die! Die! Why won't you die?!!" in utter terror. What's more, I believe that when Godzilla launched those two huge energy pulses, he was dedicating the first one to Mothra, and the second to Serizawa, as both had died to protect him and/or to save him, and he was going to make sure those sacrifices weren't for naught.

You can see Ghidorah crawling away from Godzilla after his wings were scorched; so yes, he was most definatly terrified of The Big G because it was clear he just pushed em over the edge. Powerful villains usually seem to crack when the hero snaps as far as I've seen.

I remember shouting in the cinema "BURNING GODZILLA" when he emerged in that form. Hoping to see his spiral heat ray, but was stunned when it was the thermonuclear pulse, had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, so that by the time the thermonuclear explosion stopped, I was sitting literally open-mouthed at what I saw

To those who didn't have the opportunity to see this movie in IMAX imagine every single time a monster was on screen it was like being on a ride

0:58 its so cool to hear Mothra's squeaky roar when Godzilla uses the nuclear pulse.

I once voiced advocation for Mothra’s survival, that she should have somehow stood her ground and matched evenly with Ghidorah, instead of just rushing in kamikaze style to take the killing blow from the three-headed dragon. That she would also survive to witness Godzilla be coronated as the dominant alpha titan-the king of the monsters-and herself bend the knee to her king. But I realized something, when I was looking up Wikia fan pages about Legendary’s Godzilla and/or Mothra, I saw how very descriptive the writer/editor made on either page of Mothra’s sacrifice and transfer of her powers to Godzilla and resultant use of said power for his nuclear pulse, particularly how his pulse combustion energy reflects Mothra’s essence, her wings and her roar (or shriek). So I came onto YT to watch a video depicting the climax of the final battle between Godzilla and Ghidorah, and THERE I saw it. Mothra’s spirit is within Godzilla. So I have realized that due to her immortality and ability to reincarnate after death, if she did not die, if she did not sacrifice herself, Godzilla AND humanity would’ve been unable to defeat Ghidorah. And her survival would defeat the purpose of her being the selfless goddess of nature and protector of the earth.

Well, Kevin the First was mostly just curious and dumb, only blasting stuff because Middle Head told him to. Kevin the Second, on the other hand, seems to be a complete trigger-happy psycho who was all too giddy to fry Maddie at Fenway Park and later tried to rip into Godzilla's throat as they drained his energy. So yeah, the replacement was far worse off than the original.

honestly i think they know Kong is the clear underdog of the matchup, and while he and Godzilla might have a bit of scuffle somewhere in like the end of the first act or somewhere in the second act, but there'll be no real "winner" in the fight, and they'll both team up to fight something bigger
