@@trumpywithadumpy He did, and it definitely changed Godzilla's body much more, but it seems less powerful than absorbing Mothra's remains. After all, simply compare the damage Godzilla did in his Fire/Thermonuclear form and compare that to Godzilla's atomic breath from GxK. There is no doubt that GxK Godzilla is the more physically oriented combatant of the two though.

A lot of the fighting is hidden behind darkness, smoke, snow, and water throughout the movie and that's an automatic deduction. It's worse when we cut away mid fight to watch a subplot literally nobody cares about. Had the humans just died and stopped wasting our time with their bullshit, nobody would've complained and most would've cheered.

@@terrance4887 Nah, just because the trailer is in favor of him doesn’t mean he will. First of all, they would never spoil the direction of the climax simply by the first trailer. Second of all, they had to make it look like Kong is gonna win because we all know Kong won’t do shit against Godzilla, so they didn’t wanna make it one-sided. But thing is, even though I like Godzilla more, they are both iconic and it would suck if either one of them died, and they already showed Mechagodzilla in the trailer and every single time he shows up, he is a Godzilla lookalike who paints him in a bad light. So this is more Kong vs Mechagodzilla, and Godzilla comes in later in the movie and joins Kong to fuck him up

Re-watching this scene after GxK. This is one of the most powerful scenes in Godzilla history, the victorious and royale music and cinematography is perfect. Truly something that nowadays is not seen much. God I hope Ghidorah comes back in full form. The epic rivalry of these two is easily within top 10 of iconic fantasy archenemies.

I love at the end when all the other titans start to show up and Godzilla still squares up to them for a second before they start bowing. It was all or nothing for the big G.

I never realized that you can sort of hear Mothra’s call when Godzilla does the nuclear burst attack. So cool.

The captions are fukn hilarious. I've seen this video a hundred times but just had captions on because my earbuds died... Good shit.

0:56 This is probably my favorite part of this whole scene. The way Ghidorah, now crippled, falls to the ground and desperately tries to get away from Godzilla while blasting him to no effect. For the first time in this movie, possibly his entire life, this demonic, sadistic monster is absolutely _terrified._

Think about it, he has probably not had Ni before, he's probably never had Kevin before, but this was probably the first time he had NEITHER of them. @@xiaolaoshu520 Super Saiyan transformation is supposed to increase your speed multiple times, Godzilla would move wayy faster than you with the same size he already has. Which means he would detect ants in the ground faster than you aswell. He would slam you into oblivion, just like Superman playing golf. So yeah, that means he still way too slow to do such comparison.

From what I heard, the novel for the movie states that Kong heard the summons from King Ghidorah but ignored it. He also kept the Skull Crawlers from answering the summons as well.

Crazy to think KOTM has been around for 5 years now, man it was a great movie

Just realized you hear mothra roar and see her when he shoots the fire burst especially after the ghedora tries to lightening godzilla and it just recharges him you hear mothra roar and then again see the flame energy in her moth shape. Its very stunning and took me several watches to see it and realize it. This is a movie you have to watch a few times to see all the detail they put into it.

Ghidorah’s original home planet was said to be Venus. We don’t know if this is true in the modern Monsterverse, but he at least had to come from a planet similar to Venus’ climate and atmosphere which means he should be used to extreme heat. So I can only imagine how hot Nuclear Godzilla must’ve gotten to literally burn Ghidorah’s wings and two heads off.
