The SCORE. Holy shit. Natalie Holt produced what has to be the most amazing, ethereal, epic OST of any TV show I’ve ever heard. It’s breathtaking. I hope if Alan Silvestri ever decides he’s finished with Marvel, they get Natalie Holt to compose the avengers movies. She’s so incredibly talented, and her score is my favourite part of the season, tied with the acting from Tom, Owen, and Sophia. All 3 gave spectacular performances

I agree the music was outstanding ive been humming Loki's theme the past few days haha shes great. All fantastic performances agreed and I love how much Tom loves Loki haha check his interview with Fallon he just did, he explains this show beautifully

I love this ending even though it's so bittersweet. Loki's Glorious Purpose has finally has arrived with Loki realizing he can replace the branch-killing Loom, and therefore the Sacred Timeline, with something better: himself. Loki takes He Who Remains place at the End of Time but Loki also becomes the God of Stories according to the MCU wiki and most interpretations. If he is the God of Stories for the MCU then the MCU would be changing the meaning of the God of Stories from the comics but they have changed big things before. I also love how the new natural Loom is in the shape of Yggdrasil. When Loki locks Mobius and Sylvie out and tearfully says goodbye to them, he says the same last words he said to Odin right before falling off the Bifrost Bridge and seemingly dying: “I could have done it, father. For you! For all of us!”. Loki's purpose is a glorious one, but the burden is completely heavy, where he is completely alone, unable to be with his loved ones ever again. Still Loki gets watch over them from countless timelines on a throne at the end of the world. No subjects to rule over, no family, no friends. Just him. His god attire isn't fancy, no gold trimmings, as it emphasizes the "burden" he places on himself. Yggdrasil, also known as the Tree of the World or the World's Tree, is a concept used by the Asgardians to describe the cosmic nebula, with each branch or root representing one of the Nine Realms but this new Yggdrasil is not just for the Nine Realms but for the entire multiverse.

Really awesome comment thank you, yea I love his new role as this god of stories, although the meaning behind it incredibly tragic as you mentioned. I have seen all the edits on Tiktok of him saying that to Odin and in this episode, just one of the little things that makes that scene punch a little bit harder. Great great great show, I felt complete at the end, it is a new begining for the MCU. I heard some other people say Renslayer was the one who originally tamed Alioth so maybe her stroy isn't over....

Ahhh that could be, because I felt her scene was not an ending for her at all, I can imagine she’ll come back in some form down the line. I loved the show as well, happy that amongst this exaggerated but also valid distain for the MCU in recent years this show can still triumph. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

What a finale guys. Really enjoyed this season. Probably even more so than the first which was a standout of all the MCU series for me. This season delivered some amazing performances and writing. Glorious Purpose, boys!

This has been the best from mcu for me, I think the kid mobius was supposed to prune but couldn't was kid loki at the end of time. Also lokis tears in that last scene were real, they had all been saying their goodbyes on set right before filming this scene, i also feel the gold appearing in his throne was almost like odin was giving him his approval

@@ItzWilson2 well kid loki said his nexus event was killing thor which is a huge deal meaning he may have been the one who would go on to cause over 5000 deaths. Maybe not directly but as a result of thors death. Long shot I know but I feel like we were meant to know these bits of info for some reason

Loki was asked by the director to think of a line to say right before he opens the doors so what he said to mobius and sylvie were truly his thoughts and words i also think he kept it quiet until the actual filming of the scene so the reactions were genuine, Tom said it in an interview later

The quality of Loki, compared to the other MCU shows, is not even close. Everything about it, from the writing, storytelling, acting, cinematography, score, characters, editing, etc., makes Loki by far the best MCU show. And Loki, with only the movies, was always one of the best MCU characters; with S1, he climbed a little bit; now, with S2, he is the best MCU character. He has the best character arc. And all the callbacks from what he wanted to where he ended up are just amazing. Loki God of stories, what an amazing adaptation they did. Loki is now in my top 10 superhero comic book TV shows. 1. Daredevil (10/10) 2. Agents of Shield (9.5/10) 3. The Boys (9.5/10) 4. Invincible (9.5/10) It will probably be the best when it has maybe seven seasons and it's finished, because the Invincible comics are some of the best; they are incredible, and it's probably going to be the best comic book TV show of all time. 5. Watchmen (9.5/10) 6. Legion (9/10) 7. Loki (9/10) 8. Peacemaker (9/10) 9. The Punisher (8.5/10) 10. The Sandman (8.5/10) And now that you guys finished multiple shows I hope the next one is one of these masterpieces: Mr. Robot, The Bear, The Leftovers, Dark, Hannibal, Fleabag, or Ozark.

@@ItzWilson2I have a really “out there” suggestion for a new series. Idk if you’ve ever heard about High Maintenance on HBO, but it’s a brilliant series. If you’re a fan of great Cinematography and creative writing you’ll love it!
