Youre wrong, the One that moves slower is 10th of second, fast One is 100th of a second and the bottom One is 1000th of a second.

Does yours look this dark as far as the band goes? I know its listed as gun metal which I like but I've seen pics with more silver looking. And it's on this model with the blue hands not the yellow.

@@michaelpendleton2158 yes I have the same watch it's the gunmetal it is a little darker than the other version which has a more stainless steel look to it this version the indeed does have the blue hands

Good review. However, slight error on the Chronograph dials. The top dial is 1/10ths and 1/100ths of a second. The bottom dial shows 1/1000ths of a second but only registers after the stop bottom has been activated. Cool watch.

I just got mine and it looks more silver than black. is your watch like that too?

The sweep second hand is very reminiscent of their Accutron watch from the 1960s that used a tuning fork for the vibration instead of a traditional mainspring and flywheel. The logo on the dial pays homage to it. One might be in the Precisionist in addition to the quartz movement, but don't hold me to it. Someone listed a Grammy edition Precisionist on Facebook in one of the sale groups, I was curious and decided to explore the brand/line and came upon this review.

Question for owners of this watch: Given that the mechanism works at a higher frequency, does this mean that the battery consumption will be increased? How long does one battery last?

Good question brother no it does not affect the consumption of the battery the watch holds up pretty well Of course the watch uses a bigger battery that is because of the mechanism inside the watch and everything it does so It can last longer ultimately depends how much strain you put on the watch but usually if you use energizer battery or Duracell it will last longer there’s another brand to that is very good and I hold up well but so far I have no complaints about my watch very good watch and a few on the same one congratulations Man You did a good choice

it is a cool watch, but it teeters on the invicta size and look a little to much for me.

Personally I love the Navy Blue Swiss Military that I got, it is probably one of the most comfortable watches that I have. What color did you get? Hey Robert, Key Jewelers and other chain jewelry stores typically list their stuff for sale at or near MSRP. Most of the time I would not recommend going to one if you are looking for the best deal. These Bulova Precisionist's commonly sell for under $300 in watch groups and or person to person social media sales. But if you are not comfortable with that you can even pick it up on Amazon for $469 - goo.gl/FBk2e4 Personally, I would never pay chain jewelry store prices. You probably see 950$ the 98G229 model, not this 98B229 one. I think that the main difference is that the expensive one, comes with sapphire glass, but i'm not so sure. Unfortunately this reviewer don't tell us the type of glass this watch comes.

I hate to tell you this, but you are mistaken about the 2 hands on the sub-dial at the 12 o'clock position. Those hands are measuring 1/10th and 1/100th seconds. The 1/1000th seconds show up on the sub-dial at 6 o'clock and only when you stop the chronograph. I love this watch. I have it in both the gunmetal and polished stainless versions.

Hi Andrew. The only other Bulova (aside from the 2 Precisionists) in our household is a Swarofsky crystal encrusted women's watch that my wife just loves. I find myself starting the Precisionist chronograph just to watch that 1/100th second hand spin. :)

At 12 o'clock it's 10th and 100th of a second, the 6 o'clock is 1,000th of a second. No fake news please.

$1100-1200 dollars for this in Canada! 🤦‍♂️

Amigo jamas nunca debes limpiar el vidrio o cristal de tu reloj con tu mano o los dedos ya que en tu mano existe mucha grasa o suciedad debes buscar un pañito de algodon suave y bastara. Tocar el cristal con la mano es un grave y muy comun error.
