I'll be not agree with you, Swegta. Sure, I'll agree that clique rivalry could be more interesting, but at same time, it's more... not unique. In Bully, cliques are just kids. Not adult bandits, but kids! They have their own unique style, music, fight, and even taking thier hideout. Preps - Boxing Jocks - Dodgeball Nerds - Videogame (or it's supposed to be Board game, like "D&D") Greasers - (it should be Racing on bikes or something like that, but not silly fight) Only Townies would have Fight, because they likes fighting; they the most adult kids in here. Also, I think, it could be make sense, if Townies fights with Greasers (not Jocks); because, according TheNathanNS video "The most weakest clique", Townies and Greasers living at one same district. So, they have their "Gang War", if say so. Don't get me wrong, Swegta. But I think, it's good that Rockstar deleted it, because then it'd be more like GTA SA, not Bully. Although, I'd be wanted to see "Gang War".

5:39 makes more sense when you unlock the club house but when they steal your bike trophy they pour out of it

Aside from gaining a safehouse, there should be another reward for completing a faction challenge, like gaining access to unique clique moves. Example: If you beat the Preppie Challenge, you can use Derby/Bif's dodge and counterattack. If you beat the Greaser Challenge, you can use Johnny's haymaker and unique 3-punch combo that can also have a kick. If you beat the Jock Challenge, you can use Kirby/Dan/Damon/Ted's football tackle which knocks anyone down, even if they are grapple-immune. Though if they are grapple immune, they will get back up, but the tackle itself deals 20 damage and has a long range. You can also use Ted's unused dodge where he can dodge any projectile thrown at him. If you beat the Townie Challenge, you can use their 3-hit combo, but with the unused version where the combo goes through a block. The Nerd Challenge has done something similar where you get the Bottle Rocket Launcher if you complete it. Better than any Nerd move. In exchange for those rewards, we would have to complete the unused versions of the faction challenges which you showed us in the video. It would be a fun experience and we would get an awesome reward in the end.

Is pretty understandable why they change it after all, with all the challenger being the same thing it would be not original and kinda easy since fighting in the game is pretty much what less effort it put in (not to mention, the nere challege would have being a piece of cake if it only was about fighting the nerds).

Agree, considering that most buttons used in combats are almost the same if you won't include the dodge, block or grapple. So, it will be just an endless button-mashing which isn't really great when fighting. I can tolerate button-mashing for bikes, etc. but not for fighting.

I just realized that Damon is a Prep giving Jimmy errands in the later part of the video, but near the end of the video you got errands from Damon again but he’s a Jock which doesn’t really make sense

Weird Face You can still see clones of Officer Williams. The officers driving the cars are usually him. But he also appears on foot. So if Officer Williams is chasing you on foot and a motor officer appears, you will likely see two Officers Williams.

yeah but i feel like the final game is more creative instead of normal free roam fighting all the time prep challenge is boxing nerd challenge is playing consumo although greaser challenge is normal free roam fighting it could either be bike race or shop class mini game jock challenge is dodgeball (it could be wrestling against juri and luis because jock challenge is no different than gym 5 its the same shit) townies challenge is normal free roam fighting and its suited since the townies are actually pretty good fighters

15:57 Well, the fact that Russell and the Bullies can help you if they see you fighting the townies compensates the fact that one of your allies does not help you.

Yeah, I noticed that in the first place; if this was in the final version we’d get double the ally clique power against the enemies.

Everyone is saying that it's a shame that R* removed this feature, but I actually don't think so. Challenges shown in the final game add more to the atmosphere and help players understand interests of each faction (like prep's interest in boxing, nerd's interest in nerdy activities, like games, jock's interest in sports etc). While if THIS was kept in-game, it would be just a repetitive fighting sequence. However, if it would be something similar to what user "name surname" (actual nickname) said AND it wouldn't replace clique challenges, then I think it would actually be a nice thing. P.S.: I think bullies shoud've been helping you in "Vendetta Townies 1", because Parking Lot is their turf.

I agree with you, it would have been repetitive and doesn't make justice to each faction's interests and activities. It's a shame that some dialogues were cut as a result of the whole thing being changed, especially the one between Casey and Bo. As for the Bullies, they weren't an actual faction during development, just generic students that did their own thing. That's why they aren't featured in any of these challenges.

Now the dialogue in the final game during the beginning of the Nerd Challenge makes more sense, with Jimmy being condescending to the nerds and the nerds being surprised and defensive.

Would it be possible to code in an in-game cutscene with the audio so that it would play before the mission starts?

The beta coordinates and audios are still in the game so it's totally possible. The only issue is that the cutscene would have to go in a separate file because it's kinda hard to add extra code to an already existing script.

For some reason the peds that wear gym outfits can't play their mission specific voice lines. As far as I know the jocks wearing football gear can play all their voice lines just fine.

I think the reason why these Vendettas got unused and partly removed, is that they are similar to each other, and that it went against one of Bully's technical features - they had way too many clones of one named character, that should appear only as one individual character, like only 1 Christy, one Wade, and one Constantinos in render distance. (Just look at Preppies' part 2, there are way too many Parkers and Justins, and Dropouts' Part 1, which has too many Leons). my guess that they were made pretty early in development, when there was "named" and "generic" characters (if that was even the case back then). I mean, they changed Damon from Preps to Jocks mid-development. So instead, they made different, but only one challenge for every "gang", and made probably the easiest "Nerd Vendetta" into the hardest one. I think they should have made 2 beatup missions, and make the 3rd one into some sort od unique challenge, like the did in retail version.

They weren't really a faction when the game started being developed, but rather aggresive generic students. This is the reason why they don't have a female member, a second in command, a hideout, relevance after chapter 1 and the list could go on and on.

Seems the nerd unknown voice member is probably Lance but its probably because Lance suppose to be nerd member like Damon in Preps but he was changed to Non-clique in Final development

The real reason why they got rid of these is because they all look repetitively same. Go here, beat them, get the new safehouse. I'm glad they got rid of it because it does look boring when you have the task to do same thing on different schoolers.
