i think jimmy doesn't have overhead punch in his beta fighting style, so that's one downside

Honestly i wished they didn't cut this, it made the punches feel even more punchier

To me, it seems like the Special Meter might've given Jimmy some unique moves to perform once it was filled, seeing as it goes up during fighting and decreases if he does nothing. Definitely means it was going to be more arcadey at one point.

Interesting, it seems like Bully was supposed to be more Arcade in its original concept. Fascinating how people still find new things about this game even after so much time. Rockstar did really scrap a lot in this one in particular. Btw, I love your content, never stop posting!

If the special bar decrease taunting peds, maybe, when you complete a mision you will get a rank like we see in a beta screenshot, maybe if you want more rank, just like getting an A you gotta taunt the peds while you are fighting them. Altough, maybe if jimmy completes the special he will get an special move, or a "rage mod" just like in the warriors. Btw, sorry for my english

I have a guess as to why the bullies' punch give special. Maybe the bullies' fighting style would be used by Jimmy in the beginning of the game? and they just got leftover there? and then like, the 1st hobo move he'd learn would be the 5 hit combo, something that could support my theory is the hobo's line of: ''But I bet you can't fight''

there is probably some sort of connection between jimmy and gary, since gary actually uses the same fighting style as the bullies in the mission “help gary”

seeing all this beta fighting content makes me realise bully was going to be like yakuza but set in a school. the "special" bar is literally the heat meter from the games

Hey deadpool, in the pedstat files u can increase the special meter and special points for jimmy and the other peds So does that mean that if you were to increase the number of them, will it make jimmy or the peds punches unblockable?

I tried that before uploading this video and both stats don't seem to work. Also, the unblockable punch is exclusive to the boxing minigame.

@@8ball_21 Only way to make attacks unblockable is to edit their .cat files. As for damage scale, There's a lua function called PedSetDamageGivenMultiplier().
