These supers must be some early build leftovers considering how ridiculously cartoony they are, with almosy Ed Edd n' Eddy like ape-limbs, which might mean that the dodgeball minigame itself has always been a part of the design document.

Gary using russles grapples would have been perfect really When jimmy hits the ground the scaffold breaks and have them do the animation that plays on the first scaffold at the start of the fight Or have jimmy reverse it and have the same animations as stated before play

I imagine Rockstar wanted to make it clear that Gary, being off of his medicine, was changing for the worse. Not just in how he perceived people, like, as an example. He is jittering and shaking, making a rising grumbling noise that was akin to a growl. When Jimmy comes back managing to get inside the school, it boils into a fight. Gary is insane without his medicine, he tells you this and has showcased it at a point. ADD (and maybe ADHD?) are apart of Gary, he doesn't open up about everything. In my opinion, Gary has his back to the wall and is realistically breaking the persona he had built around Jimmy. Sure, they could have used a better animation, but it was scrapped regardless. They tell you by showing the reactions characters have.

Tonfa Impale: He would use a Police Night Stick

Hey Deadpool, found a useful tip when using bully quotes in videos: if you make the characters quote .mp4 format and play it, the audio won't be cut near the end of the audio quote. Forgot to mention sooner, but it's quite helpful; able to hear unused quotes properly now.

I think the reason why Gary bangs his chest is because when he's supposed to charge you and pin you to the railing to try to drop you, he does Russel's boss chase animation when he tries to spine break you.

that or thinking about it Gary was supposed to be a schizo kid, they're known for tard rage, extreme screaming and random violent outbursts. I had a classmate like that and he had to be expelled since parents were worried about their kids near him lol sooooo in my experience it does kinda fit for a kid who isn't taking his meds

Maybe why Gary has that chest pound animation is a leftover of when he does the rail segment. If you have it to where he can't grab you initially, he'll start running like how Russell does in his fight.

in 5:00 i highly think this was supposed to be used by medium sized peds when jimmy tries to do the takedown move on them, because if you know, jimmy used to have the leg takedown in the beta after gym 3 to use for larger peds. so i think it was used for that reason

i think jimmy only has 1 unused reversal. but even then, the reversal on the grab-knee-and-punch is kinda useless because you get reversaled before being able to punch or knee drop them

Jimmy's high kick is everyone's rising attack as long as they are not grapplers, generic students, teachers or civilians.

I know this video is old, but can someone explain what a tonfa imaple/grapple is? Because I don't know how one looks. Does it use a weapon, or is it just bare-handed? edit: i assume that the tonfa impale would've used a baton (as the animation was probably made in the time in which the prefects were more like security guards, and had batons), as a baton is pretty similar to a tonfa, correct me if i'm wrong.

You know when a prefect tries to catch a student and they do that weird "punch" animation that instantly takes them down? Well that's a tonfa impale, they originally did it using a baton and it would result in a completely different takedown animation using said weapon. They reworked the tonfa impale so they do it without having a weapon and it leads to the generic takedown they use in the final version.

If you mean a regular bike, you can already do that in "Wrong part of town". If you mean the cop bike it should work too but I didn't bother modding that version for this.

Several actions in the game use the same animations. The one I'm showing is a different action from the one you learn in english.

@@deadpoolXYZ yeah i know about that, some people easlily miss that laughing taunt as the game ends the cutscene just after norton starts laughing, so that's why i asked you. speaking of which, when you said "the mission actually sets him said fighting style, but, ironically he can't use it while holding his weapon." i think the game sets him in 3_05_norton style only in the cutscene only, and in gameplay, he uses the final version's style sorry if this sounds logical, beta shit is often confusing xdd

Hey deadpool! This probably isn't the best place to try to get in touch but I couldn't find another way xD I have heard that you might have figured out a way to read/convert .TXD files from the Wii version of Bully, and I've been looking for a way for several days now T.T Luckily, I have been helped by a Bully modder named Derpy to, at least, be able to extract such TXD files from Wii's World.IMG (which isn't read successfully by traditional tools such as IMGTool or IMGFactory). The problem is: the TXD files aren't read by any TXD software I have tried so far. I've been told that these TXD files are probably in "big endian" format, just like Wii's IMGs, and I'd need a software that reads big endian TXDs, or a converter to get these files converted to "little endian" format, so softwares such as MagicTXD would be able to read them. Would you be able to help out with this? Do you know of any tool that would read big endian TXDs, or that would convert it to little endian format? Again, sorry to reach out through KZread, and very interesting video by the way!

Wii's TXD files are different from ps2, you can't open them with any program as far as I know. Your best choice is to use Dolphin's texture dump feature.
