One of the many things that made Jordan so great was his supporting cast throughout the years. Players like Paxson and Kerr always were there at the right place at the right time to deliver long range three's almost automaticly. The great play from teammates and bench players should never be overlooked who surrounded Michael Jordan during his Legendary Career, peace.

Even though the Bulls lost this game, it was a very, very, very good game. Jordan was GOING OFF. He was hitting his jumper, going to the basket, hitting threes, and just playing with a tremendous amount of energy. He tried hard to close out this series in this game. But it's cool because the Bulls closed it out in Game 6!! John Paxson with that game winning 3!!!! :) yes!!!!

The Suns in that 1992-93 season does enjoy playing in the Madhouse on Madison in Chicago Stadium winning 3 out of 4 games in Chicago. Even in their only loss there, they made the Bulls sweat for their win. Regular Season : Suns 113 Bulls 109 1993 NBA Finals G3: Suns 129 Bulls 121 (3OT) 1993 NBA Finals G4: Bulls 111 Suns 105 1993 NBA Finals G5: Suns 108 Bulls 98 Becoming the only team that won against MJ and in Chicago 3 times in a season They could have made it a clean sweep in Chicago if KJ and Barkley had not blundered dearly in the final minutes of Game 4.

@@TheNotSoOrdinaryCarGuy The Suns are actually a great side capable of winning a title. However they always choked in clutch time. Even after when MJ retired, the Suns had their chances at 2 more rings if they have not choked again at home against Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets after stealing the 1st 2 games at The Summit in 1994 and throwing away a 3-1 lead, losing the remaining 3 games in which 2 out 3 at home in 1995. Further proof of Jordan's greatness is that he didn't fold in this game when Phoenix was ahead by so much. He still made it close, as if to say, "Even when you're winning, we're still capable of coming back; you don't have any advantage over us." It was enough to win the next game. I don't think Lebron or Kobe scores 41 in this game.

He actually rarely grabbed the defender's arm when executing that move, but he did so in this instance, probably because he knew that KJ, being a much smaller player, could recover quickly on the cut.

@sopa71479 And yet, teams scored more (and I mean A LOT MORE) in the late 80's/early 90's. Why, you ask? Because of all the fastbreak basketball. Fast pace = less sturdy halfcourt D = easier points. The '93 Suns is an absolute joke compared to what Boston's defensive schemes in 2010 (for example).

@77danigga beside a few things you completely forgetting between this bulls team and a strong defensive team in the 90´s. Handcheck, 3 sec def rule, off the all chucking and bumping and grabbing
Correction: Majerle was on the defensive second team that year (there is no third team). Rumor has it Jordan was a bit fired up for the challenge because Jerry Krause (who Jordan disliked) had been talking up Majerle's defense all season.
I have this game on VHS and will try to post it; complete with the pre-game chat from Marv and Magic.
@77danigga How do the bulls mirror a typical 90's team in what way shape or form do they sesemble a typical 90's team?
Pip has some of the nastiest in game dunks ever.
crazy thought here..... maybe we can upload this WHOLE game?
Excellence
I know that this is super dooper late, but i just realized that mj lost his last game in the chicago stadium in a bulls uniform. And he also lost the last game he played in a bulls uniform in the united center in the nba finals of 1998 against utah. I guess he was human after all.
"He does not need this as further certification of his greatness" says Bob Costas. Can't really say that about any other player in the NBA today. Maybe Duncan or Shaq? What do yo guys think?
The Bulls played so well., hard to believe they lost

I don't understand why the suns did not win game 4.
also as Magic Johnson said in the closing minutes of Game 5 The Chicago Bulls were in trouble however Michael Jordan and the Bulls dynasty weren't
@NYCGERSON777 most importantly he won the following game both times for the nba championship... it does suck he couldn't get either three-peat done at home though.
Who is that trainer on the Suns bench that looks like Vlade Divac?
4:28 Paxson sent Barkley flying :)
The BULLS werent in this game at all, they looked like zombies this whole game

They ain't going to win 8 in a roll, Olajuwon still gets 1 ring from Jordan.
He had original ball skills
Pippen dunk 4:14 HOLY SHIT, that was NASTY, FUCK!
It did it for his Dad.
..and faced a long, lonley trip back to the desert.
10:21 "we like to play basketball" no way?!
@sopa71479 I agree,Jordan would have broke Chamberlains record by another fifty points if he would play in our times
@Pnoymamba24 right..Kobe could definately jump back then. How about now that he is thirty though?
4:12 OWNAGE DUNK BY PIPPEN!!!!
are u serious? kobe never been that high? LOL
@77danigga Bulls lack offensive punch, teams in the 90´s were balances with inside and outside games, Noah not a good scorer inside and Boozer has no defence, i cant really think of too many forwards in the 90´s that have defense as bad as Boozer, and he plays a lot of minutes , especially with the fact that Boozer cant set s screen to say his life
@sopa71479 The Suns D is a joke, that is.
save* not say
that alleyoop was a patented move he did his entire career where he woudl go to the weak side of the court, fake a cut to the free throw line, grab the defenders arm, and in one quick motion pull him away from teh basket adn use his momentum to cut hard towards the rim. it was so quick that the refs never caught it. another original patented MJ move
@Pnoymamba24 No he can't sit down and stop crying K
Jordan overated
