People REALLY don't understand just how dominant and powerful Charles Barkley was in his prime. He won MVP for a reason guys! Definitely was able to look MJ in the eyes during this NBA Finals series. Just wish his supporting cast showed up for him like Jordan's did

The only categories Charles did better than MJ that year were triple doubles and he had the best record vs MJ w the the third best. He may have stolen the MVP but MJ showed why everyone who voted for Barkley were wrong averaging 41 points, 8.5 boards, 6.3 assists, on 51% shooting, Arguably his best finals performance.

He was a tough cover for Chicago. Horace and Pippen didn't have the strength to contend with him. Chuck could take Scott Williams and Stacey King on the dribble. Plus, he could handle the basketball.

What does the supporting cast have to do with this? MJ scored 41 ppg and Chuck 27. Their supporting teams were comparable. This is not lebron, Chuck doesn't need excuses. He would be the first one telling you that he was not at mj's level. And I'm sorry because as a 90s kid I hated jordan and i was always cheering for the underdog

Just in this game or highlight package alone so many lies told about Mike are exposed. Lies like he didn’t pass, or he’s just a scorer, he’s not a complete player annd did nothing else on the court, he can’t shoot 3’s, etc. He had 42pts, 12reb, 9 ast & 2 stl’s while shooting exactly 50% from the field & hit the two 3’s he attempted. And that was a regular game for Mike in that series.
