@@TellenJones That's correct. He switched back from 45 to 23 in 1995 after Game 1 of ECF when the Bulls lost the game and Nick Anderson said "45 isn't 23". The bulls went on to lose the series in 1995 and in 1996 MJ was out for vengeance. I miss the old NBA...today's game is just not the same.

I imagine LeBron in the same situation at 0:50 and I can't help but to laugh!!! Maybe LeBron would still be arguing with the referee for a previous situation and not following his man, but let's say he did go back on d (as unlikely as it sounds), he'd would probably fly back 20 feet and fake some kind of injury and they probably would at least give a T to Koncak, instead MJ didn't even show any signs of complaint!

This is basically a microcosm of being a 90's east team fan that wasnt the bulls, no matter how great your team was they just couldnt surpass MJ. I legit hated him back in the day but after 4, 5 and then 6 you just had to give him his props

And what's crazy is that with the outside 3pt snipers of D-Scott, B-Shaw and Nick Anderson, to go along with 6'8 Penny's ability to post up and slice up defenses with his penetration and passes, and a young, agile, extremely mobile/powerful post presence in Shaq, this ORL team would wreak havoc in today's soft ass, small-ball, finesse league. With the way teams are constructed in this era, the league would have NO ANSWERS for them whatsoever. They'd kill the top teams in today's NBA!

I remember being 8 years old watching this on vacation at my uncles with my parents. I wanted to finish the game before we went out to dinner, but after watching for another 10 minutes Jordan was just absolutely destroying everyone, it was embarrassing. Me and my uncle were just laughing watching Jordan dominate and fake everyone out. It didn't take long to say screw it let's go to dinner now, they have absolutely no shot of dealing with MJ or beating the bulls. MJ was so insane.

Shaq had a huge flaw in his game and that is that he wore down as the game went on and he wore down because he couldn't get easy buckets at the free throw line. It was only once he hit his prime and teamed up with Phil and Kobe that he could overcome this flaw.

This is why I laugh when guys like JJ Reddick say that this was a league full of plumbers etc. This era was the golden age of team basketball. Guys played defense and ran offense as a TEAM. Every non star player knew what their roles were, and never deviated from that. The Bulls were an ELITE defensive team, and so was a team like the Sonics, Knicks and Pistons to name a few. In the 02-03 season, The 90's era player Jordan plays 82 games, averages 20 pts, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.5 steals a game-AS A 40 YEAR OLD!
