Bulletproof For BJJ Podcast #12: Joey's Path to Black Belt

Спорт

We shine the spotlight on one go Australia’s longest standing brown belts, me! (Joey)
JT assumes the role of interviewer and delves into my training history with Jiu Jitsu. We cover everything, from how I got into the sport after seeing two guys throw down in a grappling beach brawl, to jumping into the fire in my first ever BJJ class, to where I am at now as a brown belt with 12 years of experience.
I share a lot of key learnings in this one, including a few surprises that people who are newer to the game will find re-assuring.
Safe to say, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows along this path…

First ep I've listened to, Beyond Jiu-jitsu podcast with Kieren and Adam brought me here, awesome hearing the path when it's not just someone who showed up to class for 10-12 years and earned their black belt, feels alot more relatable especially for those that have other major commitments and responsibilities, 🤙🏽 cheers fullas about to dive into another ep before heading to class
