See it all started a couple of years ago, I got bored, searched "rc cars" and found this supercool channel now I try and watch every video I can, and I'm addicted to the hobby, so much so that I've spent over $100 just in upgrades on an axial scx24, best decision ever

Wow!!! That ESC is MAD! Adjusting throttle curves and such on such a small model isn't easy to find... especially in that detailed level. Ive got some high end radios thatll do it, but yah...wow. I've also gotta give it to kyosho. For how simple their designs are they are INSANELY good. A lot of the time upgrades to be more complex or cool end up as downgrades from stock, and unless you spend a ton its hard to make em truly better... so well done Kyosho. You built 200 dollars into 5 inches that I spent another 400 on... 🤣

Try carb cleaner. It should still clean the tires, but it won’t hurt the rubber.

Breaking down the rubber isn't all bad, makes them stickier. Just won't last as long.

Definitely the worlds best most expensive bodged mini crawler, I love those out runner motors, it crawls great..

Kev, you need Reefs 99 micro servos in your scx24. Also, might I suggest Mofo RC parts for upgrades. He sells brass axle housings, brass servo mounts, brass wheel weights that widen your stance, overdrive gears for your front axle, etc. The possibilities are endless. You want as much weight down low as possible. Also, he sells a bulletproof aluminum or brass transmission, as well as his SMP motor that will run circles around the furitek komodo.

Very nice, the rws really helps on the smaller courses. Also cool course at the end there👍

I was actually thinking about getting an scx-24, but the tiny screws make it look tedious to work on. I settled for a Danchee Ridgerock (FTX Ravine for you) instead. That thing is pretty good.

Try and put water in a crawler's tyres, maybe it would help lowering the center of gravity 🤷 Maybe get a set of those inflatable tyres and put like 3/4 water and the rest air, I am curious to see what would happen 😮

I doubt I'll see a response but just incase you read these... Hi Kevin, I've been watching your videos for quite some time. I truly love the content. I have a question about motor and esc recommendations for the arrma senton 4x4. You see, myself and several others have had back to back issues with the factory brushless motor grenading under load from 3s lipo. What would you recommend as a replacement for these cars? They are quite fun and much more fun when you don't have to baby them. As I'm sure your aware.

im happy with stock but you could go hobbywing sc10 or mambx combo, go with similar kv to what your motor is

Take the Dx5c and mix the rear at 13% then add some Flubber Stuffer TV5 to some comp pins and drop the cg if you want to roll with the big boys. Your always entertaining to watch. Great vids man!

I'd hate to think what they'd have to charge for an entire car with Treal quality, would make the Xmaxx and ARRMA seem cheap.

At first I thought you were going to build your own crawler track from scratch. I got excited but I do like the mobility of the track you got. You should still build your own though 👍🏼
