Hey Kev, I've tried almost all of the scx24 motor setups and the Furitek Komodo brushless kit with the Bluetooth module is by far the best. it is much smoother, has better low speed control and is way more powerful than any other setup. The only downside is if you get in a bad bind it will break the front dogbones pretty easily.

Komodo is way too top heavy

If you can find the room for it the 3S brushless setups for these are really, really good. Totally worth it.

You can change the mounting position of the shocks to gain more suspension travel. (Also change the stock servo and motor, the extra weight will burn them). Nice video!

My lad bought me an scx24 deadbolt last xmas with a set of brass wheel hex weights,and even though i'm not into crawling I had planned to pimp it more but after running it around an obstacle course throughout my kitchen and living room all xmas i thought it ran great as it was and didn't need anything else, it's sat on a shelf most of the year since though lol

Hey Kev. There is a Sensored Brushless System for the axial SCX24. Get that and try It

That truck reminds of a bigger version of its self i think it is the carbinfiber crawler

I'd have thrown on a new servo and servo mount to go with all the aluminum too.

Also I'd expect you to slap all those stickers on the car :-)
