Not only do I envy your building skills... your ability to see a project all the way to finish while keeping your workspace so clean is mind-blowing.
Not only having all the machines but having the skills to make all the CAD designs is highly impressive. As are your building skills and attention to details.
Your ability and craftsmanship never cease to amaze me!
very very very great job, and very very good vidéo, you are a MASTER !!
Incredible. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful, another masterpiece!
Next level fabrication! Beautiful build! Always impressed with your design creativity and build finish. Keep it up!
That is a work of art. Beautiful craftsmanship!!!

Ultimate design. Love it.
Beautiful work. Looks like it gliders real good too, thanks for sharing it!
What a beautiful technology! Loving it! Now I have to check all of your videos
Love to watch quality work
Wow that is beautiful! 🔥
Another fantastic build sir!!! That may be my favorite one yet!
Nice craftsmanship. A true artisan. I’m planning on making a DLG and now you have given me the knowledge how to go about it. Thank you.
An other great creation, bravo !
Beautiful build. 👌🏼
FANTASTIC !!!
I never thought of using my laser cutter to carbon, love it!
Beautiful glider and talented builder! I want one!
Stunning!
HI ! Marko ! at first I'm crazy about glider ! but this one it's a master piece ! black mamba it's the right name for this beauty ! well done my friend ! 💙
Maravilloso como siempre. Alucinante.
MEGA HATS OFF 👏👏👏
So light that it can take off vertically. And it look very easy to handle.
Extra , love it ! I want to fly again. I have a F5J and love to fly since 20 years
Félicitations superb execution of refined, quality work. It must be a formidable glider in flight. 👍
I love it👏🏽👏🏽
Très belle construction, magnifique planeur, bravo.bon vols.

It's funny how you configured it like a plane. Usually motors are option on gliders so we put motors on a two or three position switch because you generally want to climb not to have little throttle. and the throttle is used for airbrakes/crowbars this way we have full control of the speed. But really nice réalisation thanks for sharing and for the build/tips
@coriscotupi

It's a matter of personal preference. I like to have the motor on the throttle channel, and airbrakes on two or three position switches. But I get it that not everyone enjoys this configuration.

Excellent design skills and valuable craftmanship! Why did you place the 25gr glass layer on the foam surface instead of facing the mylar?
@markoroolaid

Hello. Thanks a lot. Why did I put the fiberglass like that, I thought it was better that way :)
Beautiful work. Love the lazer cutter (particularly for the carbon cloth), I always found it very difficult to work with. Where did you get the CapVisor sunglasses? I need some!

Beautiful work! Been out of the hobby for many many years but I was doing this same construction method, minus all the CNC stuff, 30 years ago. Never could get the finish on my wings to look as pretty right out of the bag though. I found over time I had problems with the carbon fiber delaminating from the foam after several years in storage. Is this a known issue and what is done now to keep that from happening?
@markoroolaid

Hello. Quite an interesting problem. At the moment, I have not had this happen with any aircraft, so have not tried to find a solution to this problem either
Marko, In the video you connect the main wing, one site is on the table and you meassure de height from other wing tip to the table. How far from table to wingtip in cm…..Greetings.

Hi Marko, great job again, you make it seems easy. Some questions? Any wax on the mylars? You always build flat bottom profiles, does it influence the flight performane?
@markoroolaid
Ай бұрын
Hello. I also used mould wax, but it may not be necessary. Why do I make a lot of wings right from the bottom? The main reason is that it's easier.
Pro :D
Love to have your CAD skills. I can draw in 2d all but not 3d
p.s. Nice radio, but it needs a RadioMaster Ranger module on the back. They've got glider receivers with vario, too.
Great job but I would hope u learn to put aileron control inside using a carbon fibre rod with horns inside the fuselage ❤good work always watching and learning, I don't have the machine you have, I do everything without printing or laser cutting 😢,
A beautiful build. Just a thought, might need to be careful on a hot, sunny day? There is a reason the full-size are always white. . .
Marko, can you share the G-code file from wing and vtail for cutting the foam….😃
Hello, Can you make video how to made steering rod connection for the V-tail . Greetings..👌
beautiful construction congratulations....I wanted to know how much power does it take to cut the carbon fabric??...
@markoroolaid
Ай бұрын
I have a 130w laser and used 100% during the cut. Speed 40mm/s
On grabcad you provided x_t files for the foams. Can you provide step files too so we can ipen in several tools? Thanks a lot.
Your skills are truly impressive. I am also planning to build a glider using carbon fiber. I used the 3K carbon fiber I have for a stiffness test. Like in your video, I made a single layer, but it was not strong and bent very easily. How strong and flexible are your wings? If I had made it, the wings would have broken during flight. There is no place to learn carbon fiber work where I live. Do you plan to make a detailed video on carbon fiber work?
@markoroolaid
Күн бұрын
Hello I myself try and experiment. In terms of power, the Black Mamba is certainly not a Hotliner, but still a thermal glider, which means that maneuvers must be done with feeling and not overload the plane. Since I see that there is a lot of interest in the carbon of airplanes, I will definitely make more detailed composite videos in the future
Just a beautiful bird, will you make gliders for sale?
Great build and awesome flyer. Did you say you would post the drawings of this build?

will the foam comptress in the vacuum baging process?
@markoroolaid
Ай бұрын
surely a little bit of foam will be compressed, but luckily nothing significant
I'm curious, what is your laser cutter ? CO2 or fiber?and what power ? I thought we couldn't cut carbon fiber with laser as for example you can burn carbon rod but only epoxy will burn leaving the carbon fibers
@prestonengebretson5043
Ай бұрын
It is likely a Fiber Laser, as we have a 100w CO2 and it will not cut CF cloth. Let's hope he answers.
@markoroolaid
Ай бұрын
Yes, I use CO2 laser 130w. max cutting power and speed 40mm/s. only thin carbon fabric can be cut, up to 80g/m2. 200g/m2 fabric definitely won't cut it anymore.

Hello. It has been done if you look around on KZread, but my opinion is that it is too heavy
I always thought you couldn’t lasercut carbon fiber …interesting
Nice that you're using decent electronics.. it always bothers me when someone puts tens of hours into a wonderful build only to fill it with the cheapest electronics available.... Also, isn't there a kit version for us less talented individuals?
Can u build me one too?😅 Your akillz are awesome😮🎉

beautiful but not full carbon, it has to be cooked in a special oven for severa hours,definetively not carbon fiber
@andybaker5800

Carbon fibre can be made in lots of different ways. Wet lay, infusion etc. prepreg carbon needs cooking but doesn’t need an autoclave. Certain highly engineered components need to cure in an autoclave but not that many.
Nice Work.👍 But... terrible and annoying music. 😬
