congrats man, absolutely gorgeous. word of advice , add some minimizer style fenders over the rear dual wheels to keep the rocks and mud off the cross members of the bed, this is a steel bed if the paint gets chipped it'll corrode.

I love it and I’ve loved hearing about it on the Podcast and on Instagram. Only thing I’d say, video-wise is i would have preferred to see the installation of the boxes and welder and stuff instead of 3 minutes of forklifting the bed outside only for it to be right back inside when it was finally out. I don’t mean to take anything away from the build, I think it’s awesome 👍🏻

Putting plexiglas strips on top of ladder rack rails not only lets material slide easier on it but protects your paint too. 3M vhb (very high bond) double stick tape works great for that. Very nice build

Too heavy. It’s massively overbuilt, especially for a medium duty cab & chassis. He could ditch half of the cross members and it’s still be one of the more overbuilt beds out there. Though, better to be overbuilt than underbuilt.

bruh that is way much weight for that setup. push the extra weight to a high tensile trailer and take care of your truck man. sillyass installation. Tellin you right now- load that rack up with steel and drive it around over bumps and you will toast your suspension on a high value truck. Need to learn how to trailer to displace load.

NEVER hire a "professional" who does not use proper safety protocols and gear. Accidents happen and are ALWAYS exasperated when they happen without proper gear/protocols in play. Sorry you would never do any work for our family because looking away from a welder while using it is one of the most idiotic things you can do when working with superheated metal
