Great tutorial! I just want to share a quick tip for using Inset function with Mirror mod. At 9:26, after you hit "I" to inset faces , you can press "B" for boundary functionality for Inset. So, you can skip 9:50 part easily.

Quick question: is there any andvantage in unsing the "child of" constraint in compare to just parenting the objects with "crtl+p" ‽

Hey Hoodboy! In this case no. Just what I am used to. ctrl+p is a bit faster so thanks for pointing that out!

Thanks :) I did go to an animation school. However, I learnt more in my first week as a pro then my time at the school. Working as an animator in studios you get lots of practice. I start learning myself the other disciplines so I can create my own thing. Will be making more beginner friendly tutorials in a bit. Let me know if there is anything you want to see created/animated.

@@vounar I graduated from the Art Institute of Vancouver in 2007. Was hired just before graduating at a local TV studio called Nerd Corps (no long around.) Thanks for asking the question. I'll be doing a channel update/welcome video soon and I'll include this question!
