These old fashioned build videos tend to be less popular on youtube these days, but its nice to watch one like that from time to time.

So good to see a video from you. Love your work. I also use the Milwaukee install kit. So many different heads. Could you please tell me where you got the brass door stop catches. That classed the piece up even more. Not that is needed anymore class. Lol

@Kapt6911 Oh yes, those are the Open Run Shokz. When I'm in the shop, I use noise canceling buds, and when in areas where I need to hear my surroundings, I use the Open Run Shokz.

Thank you! I purchased the Walnut from C. R. Muterspaw. I purchased the 100 bd ft pack. Very affordable to get it shipped to a freight terminal near me for pickup. It's actually cheaper than my local sawyer. crlumber.com/product/wal100bf/ I bought their mid-grade Walnut, which I thought was of good quality for this piece.

Question: by prefinishing the drawers, are you accepting that you are losing the effectiveness of the glue bond and relying on the dominos only? Or are you scraping the lacquer off where applicable? Thx.

I'm assuming that the lacquer is not getting into the 5mm Domino mortises.
