As the substrate was straight from the forest floor it’ll be full with microfauna such as springtails & other small bugs! They will help keep the terrarium healthy & almost maintenance free! Hope you enjoy this more relaxing video:)

Cheers Mate Which or what types of leaves or natural materials for substrate would be toxic to micro fauna. I know wormwood is and pine to some. Just wondering if you know or list a bit of advice. It would be great to see so info on this 👍

I truly envy you living somewhere you can go walkies and find moss and ferns just growing all around. My live oaks and pecans have some lichens, but I’ve never seen moss in the wild 😂

How do you treat your driftwood spider wood before putting it in a terrarium to avoid green mold growing I had spring tails and isopods but my spider wood still got green mold

I´ve got pretty much the same glass vessel on my table right in front of me right now, that was from IKEA years ago, actually to store sweets or something in it.

Idk if you've done it before, but I think it'd be a good challenge for you to build an "ecosystem" inside of a glass bottle!

How often do you spray water in that terrarium?

I won’t be spraying it too often at all, twice a year should do the trick:)

Molding phase is normal, and adding more microfauna like springtails will solve this problem :)
