Building a Personal Brand: Jacob Cass at TEDxCMU 2011
Jacob Cass, a prolific graphic designer in New York talks about how building a personal brand and effective use of social media got him out of some interesting debacles in life.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

WE LOVE YOU JACOB CASS
so effing cute and SUPER helpful! Branding drilled down for a designer and any individual professional.
Thanks, this was really helpful! Another thing you want to do in building your brand is to use your social media to help others to promote their work. By doing so you build a lot of good will and you end up reaping what you've sown. :)
As a business branding coach for network marketers I loved this video. I have been a branding junkie for several years now and know how powerful it can be to a person's professional and personal success. Great video!
Is this Jacob Cass from WWE'12
"valadiditty" LOVE that!

It was very exciting to realize this was the guy from Just Creative :D, love that blog!
Hey Jacob, Just have to say thanks mate! Haha I say thanks in advance because you unknowingly have been a great inspiration for me to get my creative world back heading towards awesomeness! Looking forward to the adventure ahead!
Thank you! Your reviews are amazing - it's like they all want to have your baby! And now I see how you are just as they say - professional - whilst at the same time friendly and easy going. Perhaps nervous but definitely not arrogant! Your work now.... your work is truly amazing. Your logos are just crazy good - you are and artist as well as a communicator - a rare combination. Thanks for the great ideas - I will refer back to this as I go along.
Very informative & thorough presentation! Thanks for this!!
I love his story its really interesting and something many can relate to ironically

+Jared Sterk That is why I set speed to 1.5 /2 for most videos- just to get to the point easier and hurry the video up.

Byslic me lol
Very informative but he gets so anxious around the 10:00 mark that his chokes become distracting. He is sweaty and you could tell is scared to death. Too bad, because otherwise this subjectis is very interesting for me.
sorry to be a ditz but SO CUTE
It would have been nice to see what hes talking about on screen instead of him speaking
AND I
and ahhh
Come on! A 10 year old would have done better..
